A small team from the Federation Military Department blew open the hatch of the Gray Vulture and conducted a search of the spaceship's interior. Naturally, the search yielded nothing; no one was hiding, nor were there any useful clues found.
Guding and his group had tidied up their rooms meticulously, throwing all valuable items into their storage rings. Berg even packed up all the pots and pans from the kitchen, to prevent the military personnel from smashing things when they barged in.
Other teams also mostly found nothing, as the military had arrived with such force that many people, sensing trouble, quickly packed their bags and fled into the city before the spaceship had fully docked.
The city to which the port belonged was called Barto, one of the largest cities on Giant God Star, with a population of over twenty-four million.
