The man was a human male, thin and tall, with a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose that gave him a scholarly air. There was no sign of him ever being infected by a virus.
"Is this guy the one controlling these monsters?" Liliya found it hard to believe. If she hadn't just seen the video of this guy rushing out of the shipyard, she would have thought he was merely a passerby. "He doesn't look like he's been infected by a virus."
"He should be considered a relatively successful example of evolution," Guding smirked, reluctantly admitting that this man was handsome in a scholarly way. This might relate to his occupation before he was infected. After infection, he was no longer the original him; he was now a puppet controlled by the virus. Although he had evolved to regain some memory and consciousness, the true him was already dead, having perished when the virus took over his brain.
