Looking at that long string of garbled text, Guding knew without a second thought that it must have come from X. However, he also guessed that X wouldn't be calling at this time with any good news.
"This kid's timing is spot on," Sea Emperor couldn't help but grumble.
Guding pressed the answer button, and X's voice came through, steady and unhurried, "I reckon you guys should have arrived by now, am I right?"
"Just got here, what's up?" Guding turned on the speakerphone.
"How should I put this?" As everyone in Guding's party listened, they heard X muttering to himself in a low voice before continuing, "Usually, when I bring someone bad news, I like to find some good news to go along with it. That way, people won't think of me as some harbinger of bad luck bringing only misfortune. But today, I really can't find any good news for you guys, there's just one piece of bad news, although it's not that serious."
