Bonita indeed chose a guest room with excellent lighting for Guding and his party. Early in the morning, the light filtered through the yellow curtains, illuminating the entire room brightly. A breeze blew in through the partially open floor-to-ceiling window, gently lifting the curtain, causing a slight change in light and shadow in the room; a yellow shadow also flashed by.
A small tiger-striped kitten landed softly on the coffee table in the living room, glanced around, confirmed the location of the kitchen, and then jumped off the table, trotting towards the kitchen.
