Chapter 7 - DEWI KANIRARAS & PRABU DURAPATI

After Raden Kaniyasa was found, a wedding ceremony was held between Dewi Kaniraras and Prabu Durapati, led by Resi Brahmanaradya.

King Basupati himself was impressed to see Raden Kaniyasa's clothes given by Batara Indra. He also ordered the artists to make copies of the clothes in large quantities, to then be distributed to the princes, namely Raden Basumurti, Raden Basukesti, Raden Basunanda, Raden Manonbawa, and Raden Paridarma, to be worn at the wedding.

A few days later, Prabu Durapati intends to bring Dewi Kaniraras to settle in the Kingdom of Duhyapura. However, Empu Dewayasa (the late brother of Empu Kanomayasa) requested that Dewi Kaniraras leave her two children from a previous marriage, namely Raden Prawa and Dewi Prawita. Empu Dewayasa was very fond of his two nephews like his own children, and requested that they remain in the Kingdom of Wirata.

After consideration, Dewi Kaniraras finally granted her brother-in-law's request. With a heavy heart, Dewi Kaniraras left her two children and she went with her new husband to the Kingdom of Duhyapura on the opposite land.
