It's been a week ever since Verion arrived in this world.
For the past days, Verion and the others are doing lots of quests and their levels raised a lot.

That's because Verion didn't have anything to do.
He can't execute his other plans because firstly he would need to be the Emperor.
But that's already set in stone, so the only thing left that he needs to do is win the tournament.
Winning the tournament gives the right to the Champion to face a Herald, and then replaces them if he defeated on of them.
That's Verion's current goal right now.

Fianna was on the kitchen at the Inn cooking early in the morning.
"Muu! Verion-san is not showing that smile anymore." She imagine Verion's smile and then she blushed.
"No good! No good! I still have lots of work to do. Ohh!? Now that I think about it, I didn't even saw Verion-san eating. He always says that he'll eat somewhere outside." Of course Verion as well as Schneia and Nezhia doesn't need to eat.
"That's right!! I'll just make them a lunch so that they'll have something to eat during their quests." Fianna then cooked with high spirits.

Verion and the girls are done preparing and then moved downstairs.
There, Fianna approached Verion.
"Good morning, Von-san." Fianna gave the lunch box to Verion.
Actually, Verion told Fianna to call him Von if they are on publish paces. She then accepted that without doubting.
On the other hand Schneia, when they went to the Guild last time, she accidentally blurted out "My liege" and so Verion gains another bad reputation. They thought that Verion made Schneia his slave, that's the thing that Verion didn't wanted to happen.
"Thank you very much for this Fianna." Verion smiled lightly.
It made Nezhia a little bit jealous but she just hold it in. And also Schneia.
Finna sent her goodbye to Verion as he went out of the inn.
Verion arrived at the guild, he secretly glanced at Cyelena and their eyes met. Cyelena nodded and Verion went to the receptionist.
"Give me the hardest Obsidian rank quest." Verion said.
"Uhm, Von-san, there's no for you take Obsidian rank quest anymore." Kristen replied.
"Hmm? I see I'm promoted right?"
"That's right Von-san, that's why~"
Everyone inside the Guilf suddenly,
"CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR PROMOTION VON-SAN, NEZA-CHAN, AND SHIA-CHAN!!!" Everyone shouted at the same time.
And then Verion smiled and said, "Hm, this is not bad, that's why only this time put all their tabs on me." Verion said in his normal tone.
"Are you sure Von-san? There are more than 50 adventurers in here today you know?" Kristen said out of worry.
"Hmph, let them do what they want, I'll pay." Verion left the hall and went to Rando's room.
For Verion, building a good reputation on adventurer would make it easier for him to be accepted as the Emperor. He particularly doesn't care about humans but, it's easy for them to betray their country just because they didn't like the leader. Verion could kust kill them, just like the Bertolt but he didn't want to rule the Empire with flesh and blood.
"Ooohh!~ That's right, you should treat us sometimes you know? We'll consider that as an apology for taking that two gorgeous woman with you HAHAHA!" Glen said while drinking lots of beer.
"That's right! Let's bankrupt Von-san today! Go order more beers, Von-san said he'll pay HAHAHA!"
"Hey everyone! You can't drunk early in the morning, Hey listen to me!" Kristen said.
"But Kristen-chan, Von-san said that we can order anything we want right? So this is our one and only to drink to our hearts content HAHAHA!" Glen then continued drinking.
Kristen exhaled, "Muu! Why did Von-san pay for these idiots."
The guild was full of happiness as they drink all their problems away.
On the other hand....
Verion entered Rando's room.
"Could you at least knock when you enter Von-san? Good grief!" Rando said.
"You already knew that we would come right? So we won't need do unnecessary things anymore." Verion replied.
Rando exhaled, "Fine! Anyway congratulations for your promotion and also Shia-chan and Neza-chan for being promoted at Obsidian rank, you are really working hard right?."
"Yes, thank you very much Guildmaster, but my li-- Von-san is the one who's working hard the most." Shia replied.
"That's right! Von-san is the who's working hard the most." Nezhia proudly added.
"Silence now!" Verion said in a cold voice.
"Yes!" They both then shut their mouths.
Rando offered them to sit and then talk the details about their promotions. Rando said that they delayed the promotions of Nezhia and Schneia until Verion was promoted to Orichalcum rank. Verion already knew that ever since he noticed that they're levelling up faster than anybody else from the Guild. That is because in order for them to avoid unnecessary attentions. But due to Verion's promotion that still happened. Verion was the first one to be promoted at Orichalcum rank in just a week afted starting as an Obsidian rank adventurer.
And so Verion and the others reached into a conclusion. Verion left the room with Nezhia and Schneia, and then went back to the hall to take some new quest for Orichalcum rank. He saw everyone drinking and eating happily in the main hall. Verion didn't care and went to Kristen.
He asked for the hardest quest for an Orichalcum rank adventurers. Kristen already knew that Verion would say that so he already prepared one.
He took the quest and left the Guild.

A few hours have passed since Verion left the Guild.
Their quest is the subjugation of a Hydra living on the Felkora Lake. It destroyed the only way to make money for the people living in the town beside it so they made a request. It was located 14 kilometers southeast of the Empire. That city is still part of the Empire's boarder, they didn't moved in because they were allowed to stay in that place to deliver goods to the Empire.
Verion is arriving close to the place.
From there, he could see the beautiful sapphire colored lake. It has about a 6 kilometers radius. The deep blue color of the lake reflects the sunlight as they could feel the blaze of the hot summer.
And then after a few moment, Verion arrived at the capital.
Verion only saw the sad expressions of the people in there. That's because of the monster hiding beneath the bottom of the lake, it took lives of many fisherman who tried to fish on the lake.
Verion didn't took interest so he immediately went go the town hall to meet the mayor.
And so, the mayor introduced himself as Cladris Fuenor and then asked Verion to help them subjugate the monster.
From here, Verion told Nezhia and Schneia to stay on the lakeside to avoid the people from going near the lake.
Verion and a fisherman in his 20's named Lecs went to the center of the lake by riding a boat.
The Hydra was awakened and showed itself. It's so enormous and was floating at 7 meters above the lake. It has 8 heads and has a silver colored body.
Lecs was so scared that he almost pissed on his pants and was making a face that it'd be impossible to beat that monster. He looked at Verion.
Verion didn't moved and casted [ Lightning ].

It pierced the Hydra's chest and it falls back to the bottom. The fisherman man was like, "What the hell was that?" And then showed a joyous face and then idolized Verion.
After a while, Verion was invited by Cladris to join their celebration.
But Verion said that he needed to immediately report what happened to the Guild so he needs to go back right away.
Cladris seems a bit sad but he parted ways with Verion and sent his goodbye with the people of the town and also Lecs was in high spirits because of Verion's words where he said, "The strong will always live at the end and the weak will die." And then determine himself to become stronger.

It was night when Verion arrived at the Empire and a guard that he met when he first entered the Empire was shout his name.
"Von-san!! You can call me Renel and there is an emergency."
Renel told Verion that an adventurer from the Dark Legion Guild has created a ruckus at the Moonlight Inn.
Verion then went to the inn and in front of the inn he saw something horrible.
Fianna was on the ground all beaten up from her head to his feet. And her father was also beaten and has a wound on his back.
The one who's standing at the center of the crowd was Ferggen Van Buefanor, the younger brother of Sieggen Van Buefanor. And was ranked at the 6th place from the last year's most strongest adventurers of the Empire, a Titanium rank adventurer.
Verion didn't feel any anger towards him for beating them. He actually didn't care what would happen to them.
That's when he thought that he might've been the cause of what happen.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Verion said coldly.
"Oh? Here you are you bastard! Did you know what you did so I did this?" Ferggen said.
Verion didn't answered, instead he approached Fianna who has having a hard time breathing.
Verion took a potion secretly from his dimensional storage and placed it on Fianna's mouth.
The cute face that Fianna have are nowhere to be found anymore after Fergen beaten her.
"Drink" Verion told her.
Fianna opened her mouth and drank all the potion. And then all her wounds were gone and then she became fully conscious.
"Eh? Was that a full potion Von-san?" Fianna was surprised by it's effect.
"That's right"
"But, that costs about 50 gold coins you know?"
"That's fine, and give this to your father I'm sure his having a hard time."
Verion was not saving them because he felt to. He only made that decision because he doesn't want to have debts on people. And he's not expecting for Nezhia and Schneia to help them because they both hated humans just because they're weak.
And so, Fianna accepted the potion and gave it to his father.
"You're really an idiot. Giving someone that worth 1 platinum coin is just a waste for those commoners."
"I thought that this country has no more hierarchy." Verion replied.
"It's because if thay Emperor, if I would become stronger I will be the on to kill him."
Verion laughed in amusement and also evily.
"Why are you laughing? Hah! That's right! You've gone crazy right? You should fear me, one of the strongest man of the Empire." Fergen humbly said.
Verion returned to his normal expression and made a little smirk.
"No, I'm just laughing at your ignorance."
"What?"
"You're lucky that I'm a forgiving person *I'm a demon though* because I'll let that pass by if you kneel in front of me." Verion said mockingly.
"Hah? I don't understand what you're saying but why would I kneel? You're the one sleep with Cyelena right? That's why I came here and asked where you are. But those trashes said that they didn't know so I beat the way out of them. You shouldn't have touched Cyelena but, if you'll gave those two girls you have, I might change my mind."
Schneia and Nezhia showed a face of disgust to him.
Ferggen is not actually ugly, in contrary he's handsome. He's wearing a richly made golden armor and a sword made from a platinum metal and a Serpents bone, he called it [ Serpential Sword ].

"Well, they're my properties so I can't give them to you." Verion made a slight smile.
"Like I care!! You slept with Cyelena even though she's mine!!" Fergen said in anger.
"Just to let you know, she's the one who made the first move. Doesn't that mean, she has no lover? Or are you the only one who's thinking that way."
Fergen was courting Cyelena for many times but was rejected everytime. Even so, he didn't give up but Cyelena didn't consider him as a man worthy for her.
Fergen reached his limit and the draw his sword.
"You bastard!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!"
He quickly dashed at Verion and raised his sword, preparing to slash him from above, but for Verion it was very slow, even slower than a worm.
Nezhia and Schneia was preparing to kill Fergen instantly if he happened to attack Verion but he stopped them.
It was only a few millimeters when Ferggen suddenly stopped his attack.
"It'll be bad if you happened to kill someone in public Fergen."
A very handsome man wearing a casual emerald colored suit with a very attractive smile entered the scene.
"But, brother this man stole my woman."
"Shut up, she's not even your woman. Stop hallucinating things and see the reality." The handsome guy removed his smile and glared at Ferggen.
The one who stopped Ferggen from attacking Verion is no other than Sieggen.
"I'm apologizing for the commotion that my brother did here." Sieggen said to Verion
"It's fine for now, I'm also at fault in here."
Verion rides with the wave so that he would just be seen as a man who is respecting someone stronger and became a mob character in the scene.
"Here's the payment for the things that this stupid younger brother of mine have damaged and also the for the potion that you used." Sieggen handed him 2 Platinum coins.
Verion tried to give it back but Sieggen insisted so he has no other choice but to accept it, it'll be rude if he didn't.
"Let's go Ferggen." He glared furiously at Ferggen and then departed.
"I'll take my revenge soon you f*cking bastard." Ferggen shouted as he disappeared from the crowd.
Verion didn't care and then he approached Fianna.
"Are you fine now?" Verion said.
"Yes, me and my father are okay now." She replied.
"If I could ever see that man again I'm gonna kill him for sure." Nehzia said.
"Von-san said that we shouldn't do that you know?" Schneia replied to her rationally.
"But-"
"Silence! Let's go back inside now."
"Yes!" Both of the said simultaneously.
And when the crowd was dispersing they entered the inn.
And then suddenly, a man wearing a hood stabbed him from his back.
