Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

I was hanging out with the other Dragon Tamers when Nightstalker, my dragon, went insane. "Nightstalker? What's wrong buddy?" I ask as the other Dragon Tamers back away from me and my insanely big dragon of forty feet tall and fifty feet wide making him a total of ninety feet. Nightstalker's wingspan is fifty feet for each wing, making his width one hundred and fifty feet.

"Something isn't right here, Chara, something is coming for you, something dangerous," Nightstalker says through our strong mind link.

"Shit! I can't even have a peaceful life without having to run and hide. God fucking damn it!" I curse, clearly angry.

"Chara calm down, please. We mustn't alert it that we know that it's here. So please calm down." Nightstalker warns me. I calm down and sigh.

"There, I'm calm, but I have a feeling it might catch up to us soon," I say. I hop up on Nightstalker's back and he takes flight. "We can't stay here on this planet but we can explore more of Dimension Sixty-nine before she finds us again. I hear that your brother NightFlame is nearby." I say as we fly up and out of the atmosphere. We head to a planet that I know is called Xzavia and we crash land outside of what I can only assume is a magic school.

"Ow! Son of a bitch that was the worst landing we have ever made Nightstalker!" I shout in pain.

"Who dares trespass on my school??" Someone yelled.

I sit up and blink before brushing my black and navy blue hair out of my face. "Me and my dragon, Nightstalker," I say narrowing my red eyes.

"Nightstalker, brother!" NightFlame exclaims, jumping over to him, making the ground shake.

Nightstalker looks over at NightFlame and sits up immediately. "Big brother!" Nightstalker shouts happily. A young boy laughs as they tackle each other, wing over tail flying everywhere. I smile and stand up, as I do my black and navy blue hair falls past my knees.

"My name is Chara Flame Dragon," I say. He watched as I walked over to Nightstalker and crawled onto his back, laying down between his wings.

"Hello, Chara...You have the same middle and last name as me..." He trailed off, thinking. He watches as NightFlame untangles himself from Nightstalker and stomps back to him.

I look over and grin, "Of course, we are cousins after all."

"Brother, this is my master. His name is Wolf Flame Dragon." NightFlame says, smiling a huge toothy grin. I watch as Nightstalker brings his head around to look at the young boy.

"So this is the mortal father bonded you with." He said, laughing. "He must be really weak." He added. NightFlame stared at his brother, then roared.

"He's not weak one bit, he's immortal brother." He roars.

"NO ONE IS SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT!!!" Wolf yelled out loud. He started sweating as the man whipped his head around to stare at him, eyes huge. I propped myself on one elbow and looked at Wolf calmly.

"What?" The man asks Wolf. "What does he mean?" the man says. Wolf turns towards NightFlame, then turns back towards the man.

"I have a curse that was passed down through my bloodline. I can't be killed by unnatural causes, only by old age." Wolf said.

I climb down from Nightstalker and walk over to Wolf. "Ah yes, the curse of immortality, too bad that you won't ever get reborn." I say with a sly grin on my face.

"Yes well, I live for a long time. Night, didn't you say I would live for like two million years?" Wolf asks. NightFlame turns to look at him.

"Yes, the Phoenix curse will stop your age at 21." he said.

"Well, NightFlame, I guess you have a good partner. He will be alive for the rest of your life at least." Nightstalker sneered, blowing fire out his nose. Wolf blinks his eyes a few times and suddenly starts swaying. Suddenly he is on the ground.

"Oh, SHIT! I forgot!" NightFlame exclaims. "I can't be outside you for long right now. Bye brother!" he said disappearing in a puff of smoke.

I sigh and pat Nightstalker's nose as he places his head close enough for me to reach him. "This is why dragons never bond to mortals unless you're a Dragon Tamer or me that is." I say. Wolf then passes out.
