"I don't know about that, Glacier. He had hurt her by betraying her and now his brother literally killed her. I do not know if Astrid can forgive that."
"She can, Nerissa. In time she will. Not all is at it seems."
"What?" Nerissa did not want to believe what she heard. Even if Astrid was a pure soul, there are things that cannot be forgiven easily.
For crying out loud, she was stabbed in the back twice. No way. There was absolutely no way it would be that easy.

Not waiting for them, Glacier took the first step and made his way back to the Wellspring of the forest with everyone following closely behind him.
By the time they arrived at the Wellspring, he led Nerissa to where Astrid had drunk of the fountain and cave her to drink from the cup.
Following his instruction, she took the cup and drank all of its content without questioning his word.
