"He got away!" The officers giving chase to the 'thief' came back empty handed.
The chief ordered "Confine everyone in the area and search them one by one! He might still be in the area and we don't know if he has any accomplices!"
Officers started rounding up people, asking them for their ID and searching through their belongings. However the process was taking time and everyone was getting impatient.
"I still have work to attend sir!"
"Why are you searching me when I'm a woman? Everyone saw that the thief was a man."
Complaints started arising. In the end, the officers had to let everyone go. Before they dispersed the chief announced "We thank you for your cooperation. The military will do its best to find the perpetrator. If anyone of you see a young man, not very tall, with a black cap and wearing a mask, please contact military officers. Posters will be put up and a reward may be given."
-Back home-
Belinda sighed. 'What am I meant to do with this? I don't have any use for an ID, if I needed one I could easily get a fake one anyways.'
The doorbell rang. 'Ah it must be uncle Aaron. At least he's entering properly this time.'

"Heard there was quite a commotion this morning, wasn't it near where your usual go to cafe is?"
Aaron made himself at home on the lounge and sipped his tea.
"Ah yes there happened to be a thief working for ANGEL. It seemed that it was a trap that the military made for thieves around the city."
"What did the thief look like?" asked Aaron.
"Had a cap, and also a mask, so facial features couldn't be seen. Brown hair could be seen under," she paused. "Also pretty short."
Aaron froze. It couldn't be that brat right. Hah, too bad he wasn't caught.
