Chapter 31 - Chapter 30

Will's POV

I called off my day an hour later just to know that she would be mad when I'd show up. Of course, I don't think I lied to her in any manner and whatever I told her about me was all true. Just the thing I never cleared was I was the big-shot of the industry. Making up my mind I headed to her when Hud crossed my path. He slammed the door behind standing at my height and spitting venom through his eyes. "What's up bud?" I tried to contain the atmosphere. "What you did to her?" he barked at me. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"You know! I heard from Margret about everything. She said she was so pissed and left so in august." I read all on his face before he portrayed in words. "Well... about that, I still have to make out things work," I told him shaking my head. "Get your shit together and make things right, Will. She had in her plate a lot already, without you adding it." he sighed sharply. "I know what you're thinking and of course she's a great human.... I'll try not to mess up more."

"Why the hell she's ignoring my calls?!" I cursed. It'd been an hour I'm trying her phone but she never picked any of it. 'Oh so wanna test my intelligence then wait and watch' I tracked her and found her in a department store as I speeded up to catch her. We were in the veggies department when I pulled her by her elbows and glared annoyance for her. "What the fuck!?" she squealed catching not much of attention. "Why didn't you answered my calls?" she smoothed her rage and coldly freed herself from my grip. "You can't escape from me!" I growled softly but she still chose to ignore and walked away pushing her shopping cart. I followed her silently never missing a glance from her. It started raining as we stepped out of the department store. "Oh fuck!" she cursed under her breath. Luckily my driver held up the umbrella the soon he saw me. As she struggled to carry her umbrella and two full bags, I stood ahead to held the umbrella for her. She rose her glance to match mine and soon she gave in as failed to find any other options. We both stopped at the crossing when we glanced at each other together but, she pulled back immediately as she saw me. Embarrassment written all over her face she continued to ignore me. Her cheeks turned deep red till we reached her apartment. Angust wrote on her face but just to resist any fights she never talked a word for a long time. It almost took a few moments for her to calm down and finally notice me watching at her all the time. "Don't you have any other works to do rather than just stalk me?!" with a frowned up face she exclaimed. I stood there indifferent, resting my ass on the edge of the kitchen isle. Just a moment ago, I was sorry for everything but then it became a game to tease her. She started trembling as I intensified my focus on her. "Fuck!" she exclaimed as she hit her forehead by the upper cabinet door. With the lightning speed, I cupped her face in my palms, inspecting her wound eliminating any gap between us. I concluded the wound to be temporary redness which would be gone soon, but we were so close to each other that her pounding heart was audible to me. In an attempt to free herself she was caught in between of my arms inching our faces closer, waiting for her response."W... What... Y..you doing.....!?" she fumbled with her breathes getting heavier. My hands traveled down to her waist, pinning her to the kitchen isle and hers trying to push me away. "WILL.... Are you fucking crazy!" as I was about to kiss her she pushed me hard to bring me back in senses. She left the kitchen in total disgusted by me, but here I was thinking bout what just happened?! I totally lost it. Shit! That was so rude of me. "Fuck me!" I cursed a profanity. 'Bang!' there was the sound of a glass bottle hitting the ground. I rushed in the living room to find Riya looking like a maniac. "Riya, are you fine?" I asked out of worry. "Have I ever been?" she blurted out. It seemed like she was drunken already. "Riya 'mone, you need to hit the bed now." I grabbed her wrist, navigating her to her room. "Stop! Why are you pushing me?" she struggled to loosen my grip and she ran away into the balcony. "Riya!" I ran to her, but she wasn't doing any stupidity. "Wow! This rain looks so beautiful." She played with raindrops falling over her body. "You'd catch a cold. You're not even sober!" I tried to pull her back but she pulled me in rain instead. "I am sober now. I am sober. Or else I'm a zombie, a zombie who has lost its spirit in life." My mind was kind of paralyzed by her words. We were drenched in the rain looking at each other. Dammn! Why she has to be this beautiful? "Why you've to know me so well?" She blurted while laughing. "Cause you're an open book for me."

"I'm glad to know." She smiled hysterically. "You know what you do to me? You make me go crazy. You..... You make me feel myself, alive. And you know the best part," she stood toe to toe with me. "I like you! I really like you so much. But this shit scares me a lot. I'm scared to lose more people, I'm scared to lose you. I don't know what I'm gonna do of me, I don't even care, but I guess I need help. I need you. Please...." She fell on the floor, losing her balance. "Riya! You okay?"

"I don't know. Everything is swirling. Whoa!" She tried to get up with me helping her. "Let's get in. It's raining hard." I pulled her into the living room. "Here, take it." I made her ginger tea as we both were dripping wet. She was still drunk enough to do any other absurdity so stayed with her to make sure she was stable. "I'm insane, ain't I?" She asked out of the blue. "Who says so?" I asked back as I whirled to her face to face. "Everyone." She answered shakily. "Then they are insane whoever says so," I let out indifferently. She stared at me with a huge question mark on her face. "Listen, just don't think about it..."

"Can you explain me why you like me so much?" I stopped in the middle to notify what she was thinking. "Babe I just don't like you. I love you. It's different and unexplained." I made it sound like a final statement. "Why?" She clinged to it. "What why! I don't know. It's just like how you cannot explain why you loved your parents so much. It's... Oh shit!" Her eyes welled up. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to... I'm really sorry." I tried to calm her down as she whimpered. "How dare you! You know what you're really a bad guy." She complained like a child. "I'm really sorry! Look at me, look at me." I cupped her face in my palms. "I didn't mean too. I'm serious, please don't cry." She stopped at my words. "I just don't know why I love you so much. It's just a thing like, I feel you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. It's just..... You just make me go speechless whenever you look at me by your most beautiful brown eyes. Your soul is so pure that sometimes I feel like I might ruin it, but still, I wanna have it. It's just....."

"BOOM!" we were startled on the sudden thunderbolt. The sound was so loud that she clutched her hands onto my chest, getting closer, touching our foreheads together. "I'm scared!" she mumbled half crying. "Don't be," I assured, whispering in a husky voice. She leaned in deeper as the lightning bolts struck louder. Furrowing her face more she as to absorb the shock she wobbled more as like the lightning was hitting her. I wasn't able to see her in that catastrophe and I don't know what made me do it but without wasting any second I inclined in to kiss her on her lips.
