Chapter 13 - Chapter 12

Will's POV

She looked too broken while fighting with her relatives. I know how much a family can hurt, I'd been through the similar kind of situations but her situation looked more worse. She tried hard to hide her grief but it was still visible enough for me to see it and that broke my heart. Till now I was already liking her enough that I wasn't gonna leave her in this state all alone.

She excused herself to something and suddenly the door ranged again. I opened and there was another lady in mid sixties showed up. "Yes? Whoes it?" I asked expecting to be one of her aunties. "Who are you and where's Riya?" she questioned me back and from behind Riya answered "she's my aunt let her in." That lady entered and Riya got busy again in what she was doing. "Uh. Whats your name?" the lady asked. "I'm Will, Riya's friend from America and you?"

"Oh I'm her father's cousin. She calls me Aatu you can call me the same."

"Oh! So you're one of those who were creating scene before?"

"Whom you're referring to?" she asked confusedly. "Uh.... The people, who were fighting with Riya before. They were bunch of oldies who were troubling her." I said straight forwardly. "They must be her other aunties and grand parents. They've always been her life's jerks and now they want to take everything from her."

"Sorry I'm being very personal now but can you tell me what happened to her why she is here and where's her family what happened, she told me nothing or you can say she wasn't even in state to explain everything so, can you help?" I got out of the line but everything was important for me to know and she excepted to tell. She told me everything and I felt more than sorry for her. She'd been through alot and didn't even cared to tell me. "You know one thing, she's the strongest person I've ever seen. She's like an angel but her family was never treated right. But still you know lotus is always grows in mud so they all were all good until they were together. And now this is the limit they've asked for. How can one be so cruel? But still she hasn't given up yet and I've faith in her that she'll turn the tables on them. Anyways you look close to her, are you guys...." she guessed out of blue. "No. Not at all. We're just friends and she'd helped me alot so, I was worried for her cause she suddenly disappeared with no trace." I'd dejected shying. I'd never did that but after meeting Riya my so many things had been changed this lately and the worst part of it was that I wasn't complaining about it. I was in my thoughts when suddenly laughter got to my ears. Riya's Aatu was laughing so hard on my reaction. "With this I can say she's is gonna be fine soon, so I'm relieved." she said while laughing and soon I joined her in the same.

We were having long talks when Riya intrued us. She was frowning at us and was about to explode in annoyance. "Are you here to flirt with my friend, I'm gonna complain this to unc that your wife is cheating on your back. Start searching new wife." she blown out sarcastically on Aatu and shrugged. "Anyways, have you eaten? I'm sure you ain't. I've got tiffin for you guys have it I'll take care of others. Will taste some good Indian food. I'm sure your gonna love it." Aatu served us food and we had our dinner silently with only me and Aatu having small talks.

Soon the night hit and she asked me to have the bedroom as there was only one bedroom apartment and she was having living room. I insisted not to do that but she won. I slept early cause of jet lag and lack of sleep last few weeks. I woke up in between the two of the night when I found Riya was woke too. She didn't looked good. I guess that tragedy must've hit her hard and was an easy task to come up. Aatu told me they meant the world to her and this harassment was an addition to her mess. I approached her and she looked up hiding her sorrows. I felt so pity on her situation. "Not getting any sleep?" I was being as normal as possible to her. "Not much. And you?" she asked back. "I'm probably done with the jet lag thats it." I told her touching her hand. She blushed on my gestured but jerked off as soon as got to known it. "So... What do we do if not getting into sleep?" I asked rubbing my back of the neck. "...." she opened her mouth but nothing came out. "I guess we should talk, shouldn't we?" she looked at me in disgrace but I ignored and interrogated her. "Why didn't you told me you were going back home? You know how worried I was, I searched for you but everything was clueless. I stood back to report in police....."

"WHAT!? You reported in police?!" she yelled at me in disdain. "No I didn't. I was about to do it but I didn't. But you seriously think whatever you did was greatfull.?" I scold her cocking my eyebrows. She looked down feeling ashamed. "Um, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you but I was dealing with something of my personal life and I was really busy. I'm really sorry" she said with her eyes filled. "Don't be. Ah. Just let it go. And I know what you've been going through. Your aunt told me. She's really good. I like her. Hey! Don't be sad. I'm here for you. Hey!" she started to sob unknowingly so I decided to hug her and firstly jerked off but then gave in. We stayed there for good few moments and then I felt her breath getting deeper telling me that she was asleep. I guess she hadn't slept well in last few days so as soon as she found comfort she fell asleep. Im glad at least she found comfort in me. We returned back in couple of days. She wasn't ready to go but because of me I guess she did it. But still it was necessary to do. As long as she was there she wouldn't had got any better so at least it will help her move on. I was going to help her moving on. Soon she started to go

her work. She started isolating herself more than usual. Not even playing music or any other thing that she usually does. She was so lively but now she was worse than a dead.
