Liki took my hand in his and started walking inside. We walked in. The hall was filled with happiness and laughter. It was filled with bright colours. All the girls were beautiful and boys were handsome. A simple melodious music was in the air.
I was a little tired because of the journey. I went to the dinning table,which is at the corner of the hall. I wanted to drink something,something which brings back my energy. I went there and grabbed a Coke, it was the only thing which was cool.
While walking back I bumped into a girl. Her name was Siri. She's just a random acquainted person whom I met during semester exams. I don't quite know her but she knows me because I'm famous across the college,the girl who's liked by Liki. That's the name I got, all thanks to Liki. She started talking about how her life was going in which I was not at all interested. Her partner was standing beside her but his face was facing the other side. She called him"look Vijju, who's here ". When I saw him,my eyes met with a familiar handsome person,he was Hoodie's friend, white shirt guy. He was a having a simple but elegant look. He offered a hand shake, which I accepted. We shook our hands for almost a minute, before he started a conversation. He said he was glad meeting Liki's Girlfriend. I choked to that and explained him that we were just friends. He said with a relief "Well then,Things are turning out really perfect". I asked how,he didn't answer but inturn gave a bright smile. Lahari rushed towards me and took me away saying it's time for dance. I waved at Siri and Vijay.
Liki was standing with Aditya. They were smiling. Liki saw me and came my side. He said with a pout expression "Don't leave me in this crowd ". I laughed at him.
The crowd began to move aside allowing the participants to dance. Liki took my hand and started dancing. After a while Liki's hand was on my waist. It's a salsa dance so that's how things work. I felt weird but couldn't help it. So I let the time pass by.
In the crowd I saw that Hoodie. He was perfect .He wore black suit with blue shirt inside, hair perfectly set and Eyes as gorgeous as they could ever be. He was dancing with a girl. she seems to be really close to him. They were dancing perfectly. I felt a sudden ache in my heart. I was disappointed. I was dancing with Liki but my complete concentration was on Hoodie. I was just staring at him. Before I could notice,he looked at me with those dazzling eyes. I don't know if this is my dream or reality, cause he was also glaring at me with those green pearls. He was just looking into my eyes, I was doing the same. He smiled at me,I smiled back. So this is happening he really is looking at me. I felt awesome and weird at the same time,it doesn't usually happen,does it?I was looking at Liki every once in awhile just to make sure he's not noticing me glaring at that Hoodie. The dance was finally over. The crowd cheered us.
Liki was disappointed and his eyes were looking at me desperately. This time I was sure that he saw me looking at Hoodie. I was completely into those green eyes. Lahari and her partner were busy, they were hungry. They left me with Liki and went to the dinning room.
Liki asked me if I wanted to have anything. Liki definitely had feelings for me,but I couldn't help it. I had no feelings for him. I felt guilty, for not being able to be his Girlfriend which he wants me to be. Of course he's a good person,but I was not interested."DRINKS?"I asked. The same routine we grabbed few drinks and came out of the hall for a walk. Every time we chose fruit juices,but this time I had Chocolate shake where as he chose Beer. He was deeply hurt because of me. He never drank Beer in the college as far as I know .
We were completely silent. Suddenly,Out of the blue he questioned me " Do you have any one you like ". I said him the truth " yeah I have someone in mind whom I love but don't know whether he likes me or not "." Don't worry, He'll like you. You are fair,cute, decent who dares to loose such a great opportunity of loving you " he said. I felt great after hearing his words. I thanked him for understanding me and left the place. After leaving the place,I started walking into the empty darkness I felt someone was glaring at me. Because of the akward situation I faced earlier,I thought maybe I was imagining too much . So I didn't give a damn about the thing that I was stalked by someone.
It was 10:30pm. Lahari called me and asked me where I was. I thought of saying her the exact location but I'm really poor with directions and ended up saying....I am near the college trees. Well obviously no one knows where those trees were not even me. So I asked where she was and said her that I myself will go to her. When she saw me she started laughing at me cause I said I was near trees kind of stupid stuff. She asked me why Liki was looking angry all the time during the dance. I said her that I saw my Hoodie boy and ended up looking at him and neglecting Liki . She said she was happy for me cause I did choose one among all the guys, which I would never do.lahari dropped me in my home, cause after what happened I would definitely not dare ask Liki. He was drank. He was angry.
I was happy and sad at the same time. HAPPY cause Hoodie saw me,SAD cause Liki was hurt,he was hurt because of me." I should have said him NO when he asked for a dance " I thought to myself. Now what if he hurts himself because of me. My brain was filled with the memories earlier.
I got a call from Lahari. It was 12:00 am,I was obviously not sleeping. I answered the call. She started her blabbering " Tomorrow be ready I'll pick you at 9:00pm ". "I'm not coming"I said with a cold tone. She said in a very polite way " Either you be ready to go out with me or I myself will drag you to the PUB". I cut the call.
This girl never leaves me, will she?. I'll just sleep for now. Let's see what she can do if I won't cooperate with her tomorrow. I was pretty sure she'll drag me .I fell asleep letting the thoughts in my brain shut.
