Chapter 19: New Face
A mumbling noises starts to enter the classroom and as everyone enters, they do specific activities. May naglalaro, nag uusap, at may natutulog din.
Sa mga katabi ko naman, dumating din sila na sabay, yung taong naka upo sa may harap ko, is suspiciously late. Everyone in this room, I've been observing them because I'm sure that one of this people has a bad plan someday. And as far as I could, I don't want any trouble near me. Yung nasa may harap ko, is an anime freak and always early. So nagtataka lang ako, why is she late.
The professor enters and sumunod sa kanya is a girl with a long hair, wearing a uniform.
" Everyone welcome Ms. Ellei Trixie A. Theresa. Your new classmate. " The girl then bow and looks like the teacher pointed the sit in front of me for her.
She starts walking towards the chair and stares at me while walking. When she arrived at the chair, she look at me, smirked, put her pointer finger in her mouth and winked.
"???", is this girl hitting on me?
I just raised my eyebrow as a response, and she giggled silently and sit.
" If that girl does anything weird, call me for help ", sabi namn ng nasa tabi ko. [Kai]
Why am I surrounded with weird people, mapa bahay man o mapa school. The professor proceed to continue his lesson where we cut off last time. I just listened to the lesson, and I can feel many pair of eyes. Isa sa katabi ko [Kai], medyo malapit sakin [Kev] at nasa may kabilang side [Amber]. No, I miscounted, may isa pa, nasa may harap ko, the new girl.
Sighs~
The time for break finally arrives and I walk out of the room kaagad. I'm not planning on going sa canteen since it might cause trouble again, I just continue on walking until I saw benches in front of a fountain. Holding my snack I prepared, I sit and starts eating. Di lang pagkain ang pinunta ko kundi to lure an enemy, wala masyadong tao sa part na tuh so I can act whatever I want.
Rustle~
I look at the person who I just lured. But I didn't expect that this person would the one who's gonna come at me first.
" Looks like you were expecting me "
" Hello, Mr. King, Amber King. "
" So you did a research, huh. "
"Ikaw din naman diba? You're acting like it's not normal "
" Anyways, why did you follow me here? "
" Are you, are you The First?"
The First, identity of the first or the top in SS.
"Then, are you The Second?"
"Answer me."
"No, answer me so I will answer you."
"So, you're acting like this if you're facing me? But, kapag si Kai ang kaharap mo, you act pitiful. I can't believe you made a fool of him."
"Who's Kai?"
"...."
"So, you just act pitiful on the eyes of others? You may fool them but not me."
"You're the one I'm fooling, though"
"..., Tsk. About sa code order, I will decline it."
Code order M-002, the two selected individual must be married in the age of 20. They will be the selected pair to produce more kins to protect and balance the world, the SS' goal. The two must start living with each other when they reach the age of 19, so they won't be uncomfortable with each other. As the code order been announced, these two will become each other's fiancé.
This code cannot be declined.
"Like you can do anything about it". Sighs~
"So papayag kalang? You won't do anything?"
" Believe it or not, I also don't want to, but" I look at him up and down. Approach him and even touch his abdomen, my hands rising to his chest look upto him. " You're fine with me" then smirk.
God, I love teasing this person.

I can feel that he's gonna punch me but it's been a while since I tease someone. So, I waited him to land the punch on my face. Asar-talo naman pala tung prinseping tuh eh hahha.
"Hey, why are you punching a girl? Are you gay?", someone's voice.
She's in between us. It's the new girl. She's fast, if I'm not paying attention to her, I can't feel her presence. And just like that, she appears in front of me, like a ghost.
"And sino ka namn?"
" I'm Ellei Trixie Theresa, you can call me Xiexie. "
"Tsk~" , Amber swears and walks out.
"Xiexie, I see." I said and glare at the girl in front of me who's smiling.
"Hi,"
" You're the one from yesterday right?" I asked.
"Hmmm?"
"The one holding an umbrella, outside."
"Ahh, you blown my cover so easily."
"What do you want and why are you eating my snacks?"
"I'm hungry, and I'm interested."
"...."
" Hahaha, why are you looking at me like that?"
" Sabi ng prof, new classmate. But, you're not new. You're that girl from the very start, you just change your looks and the way you act. ", sabi ko.
" Like I said, I'm interested. From this whole time, you stand out."
I raised my eyebrow.
" I mean, you always stay silent, does everything you want. And higit sa lahat, parang wala ka. I mean, you lack presence, and that made you stand out the most. You're hiding something, that maybe the very opposite of how you act right now, I even saw you crying alone and then laughs and punched mirror. "
"So, you've been observing me?"
"Tsk, it's pretty obvious that 'you're letting me' see those things."
"So, why did you finally approach me?"
The girl smile and step forward in front of me. Closer,.closer and closer.

"YOUR WHAT???!!", sigaw ni Percy.
Amber pulled him into the room in our hideout sa school. Though, kakadating niya lang, yun agad ang ginawa niya. Talk privately to Percy.
It's break time, and we're all in here and Amber requested to talk Percy privately.
Dark was still sleeping, who's suspicious. Online siya magdamag, at maaga din syang pumunta sa school. Shinya, he keeps on spacing out, like what Dark said. Shinya remember some of his lost memories so maybe he's trying to recall more. Kevin on the other hand is getting anxious, everywhere and I can feel that he's trying to say something but he can't for some unknown reason.
Nightmare, my group, looks like starting to crumble into pieces. Akala ko mahahanap namin agad ang hinahanap namin, pero saan na napunta ang goal na yun? It's hard to enroll sa school na ito, without Amber who take all he can para makapasok kami, baka wala kami dito. Before we decide to enroll here, I received a note on my desk, saying ;
" Aphrodite is enrolled in GU, Gem University."
I called the Nightmare to discuss it, and we decided to enroll and transfer.
Sumagi din sa isip ko na baka prank note lang yun, pero kung sinuman ang naglagay nun sa desk ko, they're not just a normal person. Wala pa yun nang matulog ako at nandun na nang magising ako, so they might put it while I'm sleeping. And I'm a light sleeper. How did they pass through my most defensive position.
Percy and Amber finally goes out of the room, at parang pinapakita nila na walang nangyari. Though Percy is still trembling while looking at Amber. What happened? I want to ask that but if they're trying to hide it from us, then they may have a reason.
I can also see the growing distances between all of us. Dahil siguro sa away na nangyari nung nakaraan, kaya wala masyadong nagsasalita.
"I guess it's best if we distance ourselves from Minerva", Amber stated.
Kevin looks like he's gonna agree, Shinya who just looked at him. Percy who's nodding and Dark who just flinched.
"Why?", I asked.
Ano bang masama kay Minerva at bakit lumalayo sila sa kanya.
"Please, sumunod ka nalang muna, Kai. I can't tell you the reason.", Amber said with a serious face.
"Tell me, alam mo namang di ako basta basta umiiwas ng walang dahilan.", I said.
Everyone keeps on staring each other, they're hiding something. I stand and about to walk out. They're hiding something from me, I do believe that they have a reason but, why can't they tell me. We supposed to not hide secrets but now, they're hiding it. And ang higit sa lahat, tungkol pa ito kay Minerva.
"She's my fiancé"
I froze.
Look back and glare at him. "What did you say?"
Amber sighs and "She's my fiancé and I'll get jealous if you get close to her."

I said that lie, para lumayo si Kai kay Minerva. I know I might be crazy but, I know Kai respect each other's private life and that includes our love life.
Everyone look at me, pati si Dark na natutulog, looks surprised. I look at Kai, to see his reaction maybe that's enough to convince him.
I was surprised. Kai was glaring at me. " What did you say?"
"She's my fiancé and I'll get jealous if you get close to her.", I state another lie.
All of a sudden, I can feel the most scariest presence, I have ever feel.
No, naramdaman ko na ito noon, when I first meet Kai.
Bakit sa lahat lahat ng reaksyon, ito pa ang nangyari. Kevin and Dark, stands up because of it.
Tak. Tak.
Kai's footsteps echo through out the room. I am even afraid to swallow my saliva to make a sound. Baka yun din ang naramdaman ng iba since, we all look down when Kai stand up.
Tak tak.
Another footsteps followed.
THUD!!
When the scary presence vanished, nakita nalang namin si Kai na nasa sahig. Before him is Dark, who's maybe pretty annoyed. Magulo pa ang buhok niya dahil kakagising niya lang, and it looks like he's even half awake, dahil sa mata niyang walang kabuhay-buhay.
And he goes out.
Ang dahilan kung bakit pinatulog ni Dark si Kai ay dahil kapag nasa ganung mood siya, kung sino man ang mabangga niya, walang awa niya itong bubugbugin. Nakakatakot kung iisipin, at mas nakakatakot si Dark. The four of us frozed, habang siya napatumba niya si Kai kaagad.
All of us sighs, Kev tried to lift Kai, and Shinya help him. Ipinasok nila si Kai sa room, where me and Percy discuss about the code order he just ignorantly said.
