Countless refugee's walked aimlessly through what had become a new, no longer ghost district of Durlivan.
Many of the refugee's were being assigned field work, at least, for those that could, whilst many others went under Trigo's tutelage and many others joined the guard.
These were essentially the three professions one could easily get within Durlivan as long as one passed a background check.
Hardvar would have also grabbed a few good seeds for the intelligence department.
Those who are left here at this time of day are those too sick to work, those who refuse to work or those who simply cannot work.
Due to the fact that there is such a massive influx of refugee's, the crime rate had gone up and as such many more guards are posted within, not to mention Durlivan's citizens who will walk through here trying to catch anyone doing crime.
After all, the policy of banditry is still in effect.
One head, one coin.
Though, most don't do it for the coin.
They do it for the city, especially those original inhabitants.
With a guard unit patrolling all around the refugee district, the main street was very safe as no one dared provoke the guard who were for the most part, unswayable by money.
Nefamiti trained them to be strong in will, Hardvar made sure they would never feel safe enough to take bribes by sending out agent's to pretend to give them out and see who took them.
Though that may be entrapment, it was also effective.
No one dared to take bribes unless they wanted to be re-assigned to the fields for three months, repeat offenders would be banished from the city though.
Under these laws, those refugee's didn't dare to cause trouble openly.
Because of this, Agashi didn't walk along the main street where many of the cripples and inferm were.
In back alleys he silently walked through looking past the various refugee's with emotionless eyes.
He wasn't so naive as to believe everyone who came over was good people, and with the large amount of them, most could not even be properly checked.
Having lived in this world for what was going to be a bit over a year, he'd seen too much to be so naive.
It is also because of this, that he didn't give the refugee's lying around any coins.
Giving them money in a place like this would be a death sentence.
While these aren't as viciously hungry as the original people of Durlivan, they would likely still tear each other apart for a single coin, even if it's to be ripped from the hands of a child.
Agashi scowled at the thought.
His straw hat stopped anyone from seeing it though.
They walked through the entire district without seeing anything out of the ordinary, fairies high above atop rooftops looked down and flew in front of those refugees.
"Ah...?" A child with what looks like a hastily healed broken arm looked up at the fairy strongly.
"Ah!" The fairy looked back shocked and flew away right into Agashi, hiding in his cloak as if it were a curtain peeking out from time to time.
While they were used to people, it was mostly that they were used to seeing them, not being seen by them.
They still did not trust humans and for good reason.
Agashi looked over at the child, his eyes a freezing crimson beneath his straw hat as he looked over the child who was now shivering.
A thought passed through his mind.
"Send Hardvar this message." I raised a hand and a piece of paper flew up holding in the air as my Scarlet Qi wrote onto the paper.
There was no need for a seal since there are only two people in the world with Scarlet Qi, and both of ours are distinct from one another, he would naturally know it's from me.
Glancing over, the shadow which had been stuck to the wall gradually slipped off as it stepped forward and took the note before running away.
Agashi glanced at Alias who quickly moved forward to the child draping his own cloak over the child revealing his tidy butler outfit.
Many in the alleyway immediately recognized the outfit.
After all, Alias had been handling a great deal of the information network and such things, as well as assisting Trigo in relocation.
Not to mention, the symbol of the house of Drashi on his back.
A white and red wolf ahead of a bitten moon.
Immediately everyone in the alleyway began to move as best they could.
Agashi stepped forward to the shivering child who couldn't run.
Under his gaze, he was helpless.
In one hand he took the boys arm where the bone had not set properly.
Scarlet Qi entered his body scanning through the break and in a moment, the child broke into a blood-curdling scream as his arm felt like it was melting.
The Scarlet Qi sheered away the bones broken bits which had dug into the boys flesh like splinters forcefully pushing it out of his body, at the same it, it re-set his arm bone but first had to break it.
The entire process was fifteen seconds, perhaps a little less because of the need to push out the bone fragments in his arm.
Once it was all over however, the boy's screams gradually stopped and those watching in terror watched as he fell forward into Agashi's arm.
The tiny child slumped forward was carried by Agashi like a bag under his arm, the cloak wrapped tightly around it.
"Take him home." I said lightly.
Alias nodded and took the child once they were out of the refugee district, running over the rooftops to the mansion.
Now then.
"All of you!" I waved my hand at the many eyes looking over, "I can heal you of broken bones and cut flesh, but it will be many times the pain of the original break and cut! Come forth if you wish for my assistance."
