Anyways, I became a teacher to Rulia.
As we travelled, I would tell her about my stories for entertainment and teach her about some basic sword moves. Of course, the action all happened in my dreamscape. She had no energy left from walking during the day.
We managed to escape the monotonous sand dunes and finally made our way to a little town called Rufloir. From there, we stole some food, we ate the dregs, and we slept on the streets, with my magic as Rulia's only blanket. Finally, we painfully made our way into the Capital City of Siodros, Sancresa.
Naturally, when Rulia reported herself to one of the political opponents of the third prince, the Right Prime Minister Justavo Golden, she was welcomed into the minister's house. Once they ascertain her identity, she was immediately transported into the palace and tidied up.
The palace maids were shocked and disgusted at the wounds on her face. Of course, who wouldn't be? The scars had healed and disfigured the entire structure of Rulia, who had once been the most beautiful and haughty woman in Kaedolia.
Rulia was very quiet throughout the entire process but I could tell that she was running on fumes. Even though she was very indignant, she also lacked the energy to defy those maids. In fact, in the future I foresaw, Rulia remained very arrogant after she was rescued from the bandits by the army of the third prince, and she threw a tantrum after the huge scare. It was a scandal in the upper society.
Now, she was docile, and her face was unreadable.
"Teacher, I am sleepy."
"Bear with it. It will be over soon."
Once she was tidied up, Rulia was quickly covered up by a veil and sent to the doors of the third prince. Naturally, no one welcomed her, and she was left standing in the evening, facing the cold stone doors of her future house. A crowd soon gathered as they stared and gossiped.
Finally, the doors opened, and Rulia sighed in relief.
We entered the doors of the third prince in trepidation for what the future may hold.
