The Tall Talking Tree

There was a girl who was walking through a forest. She sat on what she that was a stump of a tree. It wasn't just a regular old stump, it was a talking stump. The stump said "who said you could sit on me". The girl jump because she didn't know who said it. So she looked around and then sat back down. The stump said it again, but this time the girl walked around. She saw that the stump had a face and arms. She asked the stump did you say that. There was no answer. So she sat back down. The stump said it again. The girl walk to the face and saw that it was coming from the stump. She said I'm sorry for sitting on you. This time the stump answered. It said" That okay that what I'm here for I guess. The girl asked why. These three men came in the forest. They saw my leaves and cut me to a stump. The girl said that's horrible. The stump said I know. The girl asked what can she do to help. The stump said you need the eye of a lion, a dozen unicorn eggs, and some tears from a gargoyle. It's going to be hard because the roads before you are treacherous. That's why nobody agree to help me.The girl asked what were the items for. The stump said for me to grow back into my prior state. The girl made a deal with the stump. She said "If I bring you these things, can I have one of your leaves."The stump said sure because he thought they were the best of friends. The girl said bye friend as she step out of the forest. That put a big smile on the stump face he hasn't heard that said to him in years.
