I woke up the next morning feeling different. I turned off my alarm that I had bothered to set for 6 AM, since I didn't expect my dad to wake me up. I walked to the bathroom to go take a shower, when I looked at myself in the mirror. The eye that I was stabbed in should've been destroyed, but it was perfectly fine and glowing green. That's when I realized that I could see out of both of my eyes again. No way. I wash myself off in the shower, then walk downstairs to get some breakfast. I eat 2 poptarts, then grab my backpack and hop on my bicycle. I begin to pedal, then realizing how easy it is I start to pedal faster. In a few seconds I'm pedaling so fast my tires are smoking, and I'm going faster than most of the cars on my street. I zoom into the school parking lot, and lock my bike up on the bike rack. I'm earlier than most people today, but it looks like someone was waiting for me. Troy is standing on top of a staircase, his arm around K's neck, and a gun to her head. "Ryan, you just can't seem to get the message across, so here's what's going to happen. If I can't have K, then nobody can!" He turns the safety off from his pistol. "Let her go you crazy bitch!" Troy looks me dead in the eyes and fires his gun. I scream out, and my eye starts glowing again. I charge right at Troy, and he fires his gun at me. The bullet flies right into my skull but disintegrates on impact. I rip the gun from Troy's hands and crush it in mine. The look on Troy's face is absolute terror, but for some reason he starts laughing. That's when I hear the ticking, and then the deafening explosion of the bomb he set off sending me flying across the parking lot. When the smoke dissipates all that's left of where Troy was standing is his massacred body. I run back up the stairs and see K's body. She has minor abrasions all over her and a bullet hole through her skull. I place my hand on her head and feel a strange sensation in my hand. When I pull back the bullet slides out of her head. I start bawling, holding her lifeless body. I can hear police sirens in the distance. I know I'm about to spend the rest of my life in prison. That's when I feel a jolt in my hands. K jerks up suddenly and starts coughing. Then she opens her glowing green eyes.
