As I pull onto the gravel road, I start driving down it until I reach the end. I park off to the right so that Jackie and Amber would also have space to park their cars seeing as to they weren't here yet. After pocketing my phone and keys, I start walking in the opposite direction of the road. After a few minutes, I reach a massive Magnolia tree with limbs that were as thick as three of me combined. I walk up next to it and gaze up to the heights of it's tallest branches. Most of it's limbs were perfectly in place so that we could easily climb on them, but in a few places we had to make some adjustments by nailing planks on the tree so that we could use them as a ladder. It was a pretty amazing sight when you see it in real life, but what's even cooler is that once you reach the top, there is a room built on the top limbs. Opening up the trap door in the floor of it, I climb up into it. There is a fuzzy blue rug on the floor and couch with a matching armchair. I walk out onto the balcony while I wait for the others, and wow! It's gets prettier every time I see it! From this high up you could see everything. It definitely was a breathtaking sight! We had found this tree by accident when we were little after spending an afternoon at the river. We had been exploring a little too far from our parents boundaries, and ended up lost. As it was getting dark, we became scared, and wanted to be off the ground because we feared that animals would snatch us up if we didn't. Without further due, we came across this tree and scaled it, half running for our lives half trying to hang on. It had been a long and dreadful night, but thankfully with that tree being there, we were able to rest easily and be safe, from what I don't know, but we were little and we had our imaginations. In the morning our parents finally found us sleeping peacefully up in the tree. It had been a big experience in all of our lives, but the good thing about it was that it brought our relationship to a better future. We all became deeply closer with each other after that night, and the tree kinda just stayed with us too. Our parents spent a whole week preparing it for us after seeing how attached we had become with it. It was quite the childhood.... "rrrrrr" growled Jackie's car in the distance as it arrived snapping me back into the present. "Welp, I guess Jackie's here now. Time to get down to the dreadful business." I said as I walked back in and found a comfy spot on the couch while I waited for Amber to also get here and for Jackie to climb the massive tree.
