My mother and I were in the kitchen making dinner, my father was on his way home from work. Mother and I were talking and laughing like a happy family. When my father got home we had dinner and talked till it was time for bed. I went to bed like normal and woke up to the house on fire and my mother and father dead and I was all alone all I could here was yelling and cries of the people dieing all around. I didn't know where I was anymore. I cried and yelled out calling for my mother and father when I heard a wolf howl at the blood red moon. Was it Death or was it a blood thirsty wolf looking for food. I cried out for Death looking for him. After sometime I couldn't hear anything even though I was crying out for someone I couldn't hear it I couldn't hear myself at all but I could hear the wolf still. What should I do help me someone please I cried out. After sometime I sat down and hugged my knees and cried. I heard leafs moving in the wind an foot steps coming closer and closer. Help please its going to get me. I thought to myself someone please help. The foot steps got closer and stopped right in front of me. "Hello little girl" a demonic voice spoke. I looked up at what was in front of me it had dark hair and reddish skin and looked like it was burned alive. "Who are you what do you want?" I cried and backed away from him. "You know who I am just look at me closely." the demonic voice said grabbing on to my arm and pulling me closer to him. "N-no let go of me!" I screamed as loud as I could. "No one can hear you scream so shut the fuck up." he pined me to the ground. "D-Death!" I yell for Death crying and hopping he would hear it. "Cry for you little friend all you want he's not going to help you." he said grabbing both my hands in one of his. I kept kicking and screaming for Death till I heard his voice call for me. "Red.... Red!... Red!!... Red!!! Wake up!" I jumped up in tears cry "Death I'm scared don't leave me." Death hugged me tightly and held me close "Red its ok your safe now no one can get you I'm here shhh my little Red rose I got ya nothing can hurt you now it was just a bad dream." I cried till I could barely breath and slowly calmed down. "Are you better now." Death spoke in a soft soothing voice. I nodded and let him get up to get a glass of water for me. When he came back I told him the dream I had. "Red your safe now so don't worry." he hugged me and kissed me softly. "Thank you Death." I spoke quietly and placed my face on his chest well he held me close. As he held me close I listen to his heart. As time passed it started to get dark. " Red." Death spoke softly. "Yes?" I looked up at him. "Are you hungry?" he asked as he looked down at me, I nodded. "What would you like?" he got up and lifted me up over his shoulder. "Hey!" I laughed and smiled as he carried me to the kitchen. "Now what do you want to eat? You can have anything you wish for." he smiled. "Hmm... Make something you would only make for the one person you love." I smiled and waited for what he was going to say. "Hmm... Alright then. But if I am going to do that you cant be in hear." he picked me up and took me to a bedroom and lad me down on the bed. "Now you are to stay hear and wait." he kissed me on the forehead and went back to the kitchen to cook. When he came back he had a plate of food in his hands, it smelled so good. "Are you still awake in hear red?" he put the plate of food on the nightstand and sat on the edge of the bed next to me. I sat up so I could eat. When the food was gone Death took care of the plate and came back to the room. "So what do you think of my ... I mean our place?" he smiles and kissed me on the lips I blushed. "I love it and what do you mean by our place?" I asked as he lad down next to me. "Don't you remember what we dreamed about when we were kids." I looked at him in shock. "How did you remember my dream home even after so long?" he looked at me. "How could I forget a dream that became a promise when I first met you." I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back and we lad there in silence till we feel asleep.
