It was a brutal war The Red Sun and Starin went from being allies to enemies. The Red Sun attempted to assassinate a high rank general of Starin. This is what made them go to war after the attempt Starin unleashed a swarm of Fighters and 5 Fleets each with their own swarms of fighters. They hovered above the planet of Kei where the Red Sun lives. And they bombed the whole planet they were caught off guard by this attack. They tried to scramble some ships to fight back but each of them were destroyed. Among the 5 fleets one was a super fleet. The main ship in the super fleet hand a ion giga plasma cannon capable of destroying the whole planet. By the time the Red Sun found out it was to late to evacuate. The blast from the cannon sent shockwaves throughout space. The entire planet of Kei was gone in seconds not a single trace of life left.
Other members of the Red Sun who weren't at their home land were hunted. Starin sent fleets out to search and destroy all Red Sun fleets and ships. After a year all fleets and ships that belonged to the Red Sun were gone. They were all massacred by Starin and their massive fleets. The Red Sun didn't stand a chance they were wiped off every map across the universe.
