*PREVIOUS CHAPTER*
"Duchess, I have to tell you something. It has something to do with the viscountess"
***
I followed Perin to a room and saw him lock it. He had a serious look on his face, he looked a bit troubled.
"Duchess, viscountess Lily has started to visit Elia and the third prince a lot lately. As you remember your encounter with Marisol de Ver, the viscountal house has started to hold a grudge on the estate" I gave Perin a nod.
'That spoiled girl deserved it though' I thought. I saw Perin handing me a necklace, it was a purple one. When I touched it, it felt like a mysterious aura entered my body.
"It's a magic detector, it gets warm when there is magic nearby that isn't yours. The duke told me to give this to you, since he will go to war in the south" I gave Perin a nod as he left.
"The estate must feel boring without him..." I looked outside and got the thought out of my head. I felt my heart ache and get filled with sadness.

*The next day, 12 p.m.*
The duke finally returned from the Royal Palace, but he looked under a lot of pressure. I could see that he was quite stressed. He immediately went to his study after finishing his lunch.
"You should do something, master. Your husband needs you to cheer him up!" I looked at Naralia with a death stare and she immediately went silent.
"He doesn't need me to cheer him up, I would only be in his way" I said with a sigh. 'There's no way that he would even care'.
"Master, you're his wife. He will care, the love pro won't be wromg!" I gave Naralia a flick on her forehead. 'A love pro...?' I made a facepalm.
"Alright! I will make him herbal tea to calm him!" I saw the disappointment in Naralia's eyes as I said that. "You have a long way to go, master" She said with a sigh.

I was just standing outside the duke's office and didn't hear a sound. I was thinking that the duke was asleep so I entered without knocking.
I saw him doing his paperwork and he gave me a puzzled look. "Don't you know how to knock?" He said with a straight face. "Ah, sorry" The duke let me in.
"I brought you some tea, please drink it" I put the tea on his desk and he gave it a weird look. "I don't like drinking tea" I felt like an arrow struck my heart.
"It will help you relieve stress, just drink it" The duke just kept staring at the teacup and back at me. He wasn't planning on drinking it.
"Drink it" I gave him a cold look and he quickly held the teacup. He carefully sipped a little and his face looked better than ever. "This tea is amazing, did you brew it?" I gave him a proud nod. "It has to be more warm" I felt my heart getting struck again and I also felt a bit irritated.
"If you drank it when I just brought it, it would've been more warm!" I said with a pout. The duke didn't even give a reaction, he kept drinking the tea.
"Aishhhh, you're so troublesome" I left the office and slammed the door shut.
*after Celestine left*
"My wife, you're so funny to tease" The duke said with a smile. He looked at the tea and felt happy. "So she does think about me" He said with a smile.

I was walking down the hall when I saw the servants suddenly heading to the training grounds. "Is there a tournament planned?" I looked out the window. There was a knight standing outside, he didn't look like one of our knights.
The knight wore a purple cape, our capes are blue.
"Celestine, think! To who does purple belong...." I was thinking heavily until I finally got the answer.
"The royal army...?" Purple is a colour of royalty, so it must be a royal knight.
I saw Mary running up to me and she quickly grabbed my hands.
"Duchess, the king told you to come to the Royal Palace now...." Mary was worried, her voice and her body were trembling.
