Once permitted, Long Jia entered the study. The study was as grand as it has always been with wide space that could easily occupy at least ten people and an elaborately decorated table which looked as elegant as its owner.
"Greetings to Wangye." Long Jia said.
Wu Bingwen hummed, not lifting his face even once.
Both stood in awkward silence. One was trying and hesitating to say something while the other was busy acting ignorant; even if he was just staring at the documents not understanding anything.
Finally, Long Jia said: "I want to borrow your artisan."
Wu Bingwen looked up and arched his brow.
"I want him to make something for me. It's important. Don't worry, it will not bring any harm to Wangye."
Wu Bingwen had been getting daily reports from Ding Fan, but he failed to tell him such an important piece of information! Unforgivable! Bingwen decided to punish him later.
While Long Jia stared at him, wondering what he was thinking. She lifted her arm and her sleeve slipped backwards. She stopped her hand in front of his eyes and clicked her fingers.
Wu Bingwen came back and what greeted him was fair skin that was neither to pale nor too dark. He pushed himself back, stood up and went towards the bookshelf; pretending to search for a book to hide his embarrassment.
Long Jia tilted her head and asked: "So, Can I?"
"Do whatever you want."
Long Jia jumped up in joy, forgetting that she was in ancient times where such things were not considered befitting of a lady.
After Long Jia left his study and the door was closed, Wu Bingwen clicked his tongue. He was planning to make her suffer before complying to her request! What a seductress!
Bingwen swore to make her suffer next time, not knowing that the number of days Long Jia begs can be counted on one hand.
