The servants brought forth the bamboos poles to commence the singkilan as part of the festivity. Every noble lord and bae must perform the singkil before the crowd witnessing the tying of the household. Every bae was taught how to singkil as well as the noble lords. Mailyn walked elegantly towards the bamboo poles as the servant gently placed them on the ground. Before the bamboo poles clinked with the rhythm of the ensembles and the sound of the singkil she worned in her ankles, she dropped the fans she held in her both hands and as silent and fast as she could, she geared towards the tables of the gentlemen. She smiled beautifully and lean towards the table of the noble princes of Dangoi Nguy and Pinath Yanai but suddenly grabbed the Kampilans in swift motion that leave everyone jaw-dropped including the Sulli's household. They never thought that their eldest child could do such things as it walked towards the bamboo poles with the kampilan in her both hands. It is not the singkil they once know as she exchanged the golden fans with the sharp blades towards her groom.

She stomped her feet and let the singkil in the anklet rings three times and the poles starts clinking; the as she elegantly swayed the kampilans as if there is no peril in the sharp blades of it. The dangerous tip of the swords creates an illusion of striking lines that in flares in everyone's eyes. She is so emersed in her danced as if she was the dance itself that she quickly responded to the beat at the same time the timing of the bamboo poles to evade the painful bruises from the striking poles. Her silk dress flurries as if it was cascading purple waterfalls, flown in the mid air that everyone's eyes are on her. Pinath Yanai prince Longah stared at her and tighten his grip on the clay cup as if he was flared up to see his kampilan used as an ornament of the bold bae. When the poles quickly strikes and the rhythm intensify, Isagani joins the dance adjacent to his betrothal. They exchange glances one with deep grudge and irritation; the other with great amusement and fascination. Everyone's attention was how they could match their movement as the speed escalates further. As they drew closer, Maylin drew the kampilan and charges towards Isagani. The nobles and royalty were immersed with their singkilan yet they don't fathom that both of them were fighting while dancing in the pole. The Sulli elders were most surprised with such behavior knowing how well-behaved and gentle their Bae could be.

As Isagani tried to defend himself from incessant attacks from Maylin, he fend himself and try to respond gently with his soon to be wife.

"What's the matter my bae?" he asked manage to throw off one of the kampilan the bae held. "Are you dissatisfied with me?"

"I am well satisfied Your Highness, I was delaying your decision and perhaps change your mind in marrying someone rude and rough like me." she retorted as she charge her last strength and aimed at Isagani's chest. She never intend to kill him. She was just trying to scare him off. Following the rhythm of the poles, she accidentally throw the kampilan like she always did to her punyal when she was irritated and angry. She was accurate that she was kill his betrothed in an instant. With his reflex, the dodge the kampilan but it cut his shoulder instead. It was exact timing that the dance stopped. He just smiled at her who were at loss of words when she taught she might killed him in one strike.

"I believe my bae is a little bit excited to hold me." He place his left hand to his right chest and bowed in front of her. It was a ritual that the rites of the Kasa Buya for them is officially tied. Their elders gather before the emperor where the Ulipon brought them the sanduguan cups for the tied households. It was an oath not to Pangayaw ( Declaring war ) each other's clans even their people. It was a truce that The Province of Sulli is an ally to the country Hinon Dan as well as Hinon Dan is an ally of the province of Sulli.

"The wedding of the two households will be in three Takduls (Full moon), The Sulli Province will give their exclusive trade routes to the Hinon Dan and Hinon Dan will provide 25 Balangay of Gold and 25 balangay of Goods as well as land rights in the north to be given to the people of Sulli."

They crossed their cuts in their wrist as a sign of brotherhood and their linkage with both of their heirs marriage. Maylin offers her panubok to Isagani and wears in into putong as a sign of agreement in marriage. She sighed in defeat. She could not escape in this marriage unless she dies in the hands of her betrothal.
