Walter leaving the Master's residence felt lonely. Walking down the hill, towards the little field, he stops to enjoy the gentle breeze and full view of the kingdoms royal castle and his little shed he calls his home right in front of the castle. His home, separating the farm from the main gates to the castle. Wondering why this small farm was the furthest from the town and why it is forbidden to enter this farm without the knowledge of the king's court and a visitors permit. How many people he had to ask to leave because they did not receive a permit or not accepting workers. Why was Angie Dee and him the only workers? Sure the farm was small enough to manage for the two of them, but wouldn't things go faster with at least one more worker? Why did the master claim her as a slave and not a dependent? Why did he claim me as his dependent and not as his own? Are we all related? Naw, that old man doesn't have my ears, so that can't be. How old is master really? Why does Angie have those weird implant like things on her back? Does she feel pain from em? How can she sleep with em on? Why does master make her wrap em up when she works? How would she look like with actual wings? Tiny wings would look soo cute on her, I should make a sleeve for them, and she can wear em around the house. The sleeves can have attachable wings! "I am a genius!" he states to himself as he jumps. As his feet hit the ground, he asked himself, why is my middle name Wings? Like what the actual fu..." his internal thoughts froze when he bumped into a little Livilla that flew into his face. "Ouch, Lil bud, why did ya hit me?" asked Walter to the bird. Now focusing on where he stands, he realizes that he almost ran into his little home.
"Ah shiitake mushrooms sliced on a pool of sauce and covered in tall mellow towered over thin bread!" exclaimed Walter.
"What an unnecessary way to say pizza" came a voice carried by the wind.
"Are my eyes deceiving me, or did you just speak, little Livilla?" asked Walter.
"My, my, so elves can indeed speak to animals, or would you say it's the other way around?" challenged the Livilla.
"Why? Why now you decided to talk to me, and why not then?" asked Walter.
"We have always been able to talk, but the problem is you are not a full elf".
"What would a bird brain like you know about elves? They are nonnative to this planet, and I am! Dontcha see my ears?" Taunted Walter.
"How old are you, Halfing?" Asked the Livilla.
"I just turned eighteen, why do you ask?".
"When a Halfing Elf turns eighteen, their elf side awakens".
"Wow, that's cool and all, and I appreciate you trying to help me from hurting myself, but I should be getting a move on" motioned Walter to his home.
"Okay, but did you return her watch?" queried the Livilla.
"She went to her room before I could return it, I'll give it to her tomorrow, I'll clean and fix the watch if needed so she can be happy".
"I see, well then, may I ask a classified question?" The Livilla looked straight into his eyes, searching for a reason to lose trust. "Aight your eyes tell me you won't tell any souls, may we enter your humble home".
As to agree to the conditions, he opens up the door to his dwelling. Once they entered, he quickly closed the door slamming it.
"So what do you think"? Requested a feminine voice behind him. Walter turned around and went blank.
"What exactly are you?" asked the now calm and collected Walter.
"An actual siren, you know from the earth, born in Greece tho" answered the transformed Livilla.
"Why is your form a Livilla and not a fish?"
"Whoah, you got the wrong type of siren there boy, this hot chick does not smell!" Exclaimed the Siren.
"Then what is your true form, if you don't mind me asking".
"Questions, questions, questions. It's all I get from you, my boy. But I'll humor you, I am in my true form right now", she states, spreading her huge pearly white wings.
"An angel?".
"I am actually a Dove, and now I would like to ask ya, something my boy".
"As you wish, ma'am".
"First of all I would like to live here, I don't mind being in a cage when sleeping or when a guest is present. Second of all, I got a feeling that you don't have a familiar yet and would like to help you out with that, I owe it to an old gal, last but not least, I would like to get close to that strange girl".
"Are you gonna take her away? I'm kidding, I'll agree under the condition that you don't do anything that I don't approve of to her, do we have ourselves a deal?"
"Deal!" She reached out to his hand and shook it three times. A mark soon appeared on his right index finger, it seemed to look like a feather.
"A contract has been made, you better not break it boy".
"sure thing miss, by the way, how were you able to turn to a Livilla? That bird ain't from the earth".
"My secret to keep, boy, and don't you ever ask again, got it," she said sternly.
Walter nodding his head in fear agreed.
