- On a nearby building-
A pair of golden eyes looked down at the town being destroyed. A straight-faced expression was plastered across her face as a few purple bangs hung down on the side of her head.
"Mission acknowledged…" She spoke calmly. "I'm going in." She pushed off the building has she dove into the small demon-infested town."
-Destroyed town in Nagoya, Japan-
Ira's eyes bulge out of his head as he stood completely stunned at the sight that stood before him. Ziva, his older sister, demonized standing above a pile of bodies of the town's people. She looked at her demonic hand, her claws large and sharp with blood dripping off the tips of her nails. "Hmm, I guess I overdid it a little." She tilted her hand slightly, surveying the transformation that she had undergone. "Maybe I should have held back…But…" Her red eyes slightly glanced at the bodies that lay before her. "It…Just felt so good to let loose a bit." She stretched, her demon arm extended in the air as she cracked her back and neck along with it.
"What do you think Ira?" She licked her lips as her calm demonic voice echoed throughout the room. "Do you think that this was a little much?" She asked him again, showing off half her demonic body.
"I…Ziva…Is…Is that you?" Ira stuttered. "Wha…What happened to you?" He stammered as he hesitantly took a step back, only to trip over some fallen debris, landing on his backside.
A lustful smile appeared across Ziva's face. "What happened to me? Oh, that's right. "Her siren voice dragged on as she looked back over her demonic self. "This is your first time seeing me like this isn't it?" The sounds of flames could be heard on the outside as more people screamed and were quickly silenced as Ziva paid it no mind.
"Damn, how long have I been hiding this from you?" She thought to herself as she placed her finger on her chin.
"Oh well, I was saving this for a special occasion when I did decide to show you, but I guess there's no time like the present right?" She slowly took a step forward causing Ira to quickly scramble backward until his hand touched a pool of blood that leaked from behind him. Feeling the liquid take shape around his hand, his eyes shot up at the realization of what it was. Fear sunk in as his body became unresponsive.
His palm stuck to the red liquid that slowly filled the floor. It seeped in-between his fingers causing his heart race. He didn't want to, but his body moved on its own as his head slowly turned to see what his hand was in. His mind begged it to be something else, but his eyes were shown the horrific reality that lay before him. The image of the bodies of a man and woman laid maned and decimated right in front of him. Their eyes open as they to, succumb to the fear of reality and learned that death was their only means of escape.
"Are you scared yet." She whispered as she saw the look on his face. "Have you realized the situation that you're in? Have you grasped reality, Ira?" Her voice was low but seductive as her words left her lips.
His eyes began to water as the sight became too much for him to bear. "Why?' He managed to croak out as his ears became deaf to the footsteps that came towards him. A few strands of tears streamed down his face as he felt breath against his neck as he kept his eyes fixated on the dead bodies.
"You're scared, aren't you?" Ziva asked him, her demonic claw lightly forcing his head towards her as his tear-filled eyes faced her. "It's ok Ira. It's ok to be scared." Her hand slowly caressing the side of his face as she felt the water from his tear ducks slide onto her palm. "I know this must be terrible for you, but you have to remember…You have a job to do." Her smile never leaving her face. "Did you make sure the kids got to safety like I asked you?" She asked him as she could tell that his heart nearly stopped as she questioned him about the children.
"I see…" She closed her eyes for a second and leaned in close to him. Her lips were close to his right ear as she whispered. "Don't worry; they were going to die anyway." Her smirk resurfacing on her face as it only seemed to widen as she broke the heartbreaking news to her little brother.
One mind-breaking fact after another pounded Ira's mental state. He looked up at his newly formed sister as she loomed over him. "No…No…Get away from me!" He shoved her off, quickly standing up as he faced her.
Ziva looked at him with a fake shocked expression on her face, but it quickly faded away as her smirk reappeared. "What's wrong Ira? Don't you love me anymore?" She placed her hand on her heart, and lightly shook her head. "You don't like the way I look, do you?" She asked him as she began making her way towards him again.
Ira stood stunned in her presence as she made her way towards him. "Ziva…What…What happened to you? How did you..." Ira had trouble taking in the realization of Ziva's new form.
"I'm sorry little brother, but I just simply don't have the time to answer all of your trivial questions." She said as she got within arm's reach of him. "And…" Using her demonic arm and reached for him, wrapping her large demonic hand around the back of his head and pulled him close to her. "Neither do you." She released him as he struggled to get away from her. "Go on; run…I'll give you a head start." She licked her lips as Ira didn't need to be told twice as he quickly bolted through the entrance and ran for all that he was worth.
"Hurry up…" Her voice echoed from behind him. "You don't have much time." She followed up as Ira glanced behind him and saw Ziva casually walking behind him. He crashed into random things as he ran. Tripped over trash cans as he tried his best to hide from the demon that he thought was his sister. "Oh come on, you're not even making this a challenge." Even though she was still some ways away from him, she still seemed like she was close enough that she was breathing down his neck.
"Run Ira!?" Ziva slowly began to follow her prey. Her footsteps landing casually on the pavement as she pursed her opposition. "Run as fast as you can." She whispered to herself as she slapped a motionless car out of her way, destroying it as it slammed into the side of a building."
Ira could hear Ziva's taunts behind him and the loud explosion started him even more, merely pushing him to run faster. "No matter where you go, I'm going to catch you." Hearing Ziva's voice in the distance as she appeared over the horizon nearly caused him to trip himself up as he stumbled a bit. He quickly regained his footing just in time to see another small explosion take place right before his eyes.
Breathing heavily, Ira ducked off into an abandoned parking deck. The lights were dimmed and some blinked on and off, showing remnants of their last light as they struggled to stay on. He quickly ran and hid behind a few cars that seemed to be piled up on top of one another. His breathing accelerated as he hid, unable to keep his heart rate under control as he heard a set of footsteps enter the parking deck.
"Oh Ira, how long has it been since we began to live together? How long have you survived from me watching over you? Protecting you from everything that you couldn't handle?" Ziva calmly asked as she lazily slapped two or three vehicles to the side with little effort causing each car to explode as she searched for Ira. "And now that I look a bit different. You run from me?" her voiced seemed a bit angry as she slapped another vehicle to the side, causing it to explode on contact. "Your sister!" She clawed another car down the middle, causing another explosion to occur as she walked through the smoke unharmed.
"You know that's not very nice right?" She searched some more as Ira, himself, literally tried to stop his body from shaking as he glanced from behind his hiding spot. He quickly noticed a pair of feet walking to the upper level; He made sure he kept quiet as sweat dripped from his face. His eyes never leaving its target as he made sure that the pair of legs was gone. His body relaxed for a bit as he returned to hiding taking a slight breath of relief.
"I know that was close wasn't it?" Ziva's face appeared beside him as Ira's eyes lit in petrifying horror. He slowly turned his head to his left to see his demonic older sister standing beside him, as she casually crossed her arms as she leaned against the car, twirling her demon hair playfully.
"H…H…How did..." Ira stammered as Ziva interrupted him.
"You know that's the oldest trick in the book, right?" She teased him. "You know the walk away and have them think that your gone, only to be right beside them before they least expect it. "She placed her hand on top of his head, ruffling his head a bit before removing it.
Scared out of his wits, Ira quickly moved away, creating some distance between the two before he turned around to face her." Ziva…." He paused before he spoke again. "What the hell is going on? What is all this? What happened to you?" He bombarded her with questions as Ziva only wagged her finger at his eagerness to know the truth.
"Nu uh uh…" She teased. "Didn't I tell you earlier? I don't have time to answer your silly little questions." She reminded him. "Here." She quickly grabbed the sword hanging on her side and tossed it to him. "You're going to need that; I don't like devouring my prey if they can't defend themselves. I do have some type of morals you know." She told him as the sword fell in front of Ira who only could stare at her in disbelief.
"Devour…You mean you're going to…" He stammered.
"That's right. You're about to be my tasty little snack, sorry but that's just how these things go." She shrugged her shoulders. "I'd prefer not to eat you, but you know…Kind of don't have an option at this point." She extended her arm, flexing her claws as a hungry smile appeared on her face. "Now pick it up, or you're not going to live long." She charged at him as Ira quickly followed her instructions.
He quickly picked up the sword Ziva graciously gave to him and managed to block an incoming swipe from her claws, creating sparks as she tried to swipe his head off, but he managed to avoid most of her attacks. Using his newly acquired sword, he was barely able to fend her off; Ducking and dodging her attacks and barely able to block a few that forced him to block.
"Is that all you got!" She shouted as she swung her arm with more force, destroying his guard completely, knocking him against a cement beam back first. A loud gasp came out of Ira's mouth as his body slowly limped down from the wall that he hit as he fell to his knees. Ziva couldn't help but laugh a bit at the sorry state Ira was in. "You can't be serious Ira." She made her way towards him, stopping directly in front of him before kneeling and placing her demonic hand on top of his head again. "I thought I taught you better than this." She sighed as she closed her eyes for a brief second and reopened them with anger. "Fight back already!" She yelled at him as she tossed him with barely half her strength, but it felt like completely different for Ira as his body slammed against the side of the car, causing him to fall face first in the ground.
"Your life is on the line and everybody you know is dying right now and this is how you fight back!" She screamed at him as Ira didn't budge from his new position. "What happened to you knowing how to swing a sword better than me?" She questioned him as she walked up towards him again, picking him up by his hair again. "Did those kids not mean anything to you?" She jerked him in the air as she glared at him. "Didn't you feel anything when they…" Ziva's words were quickly cut short as she saw the sword coming straight towards her head out of the corner of her eye. Dropping him quickly Ziva jumped back and out of Ira's attack range.
Ira was breathing heavily for a short moment, but slowly regained his composure and slowly stood up, sword in hand. "Damn, I was a second too late." He whispered to himself as Ziva looked at him curiously for a second as a smirk formed on her face again.
"Oh, look at you being clever, trying to bait me in and take me out." Ziva praised as Ira lifted his head, his eyes now glaring daggers at his older demonic sister. "Ohhh, l love that look in your eyes." She licked her lips as she prepared herself. "Let's go, big boy, come and get me." She taunted him as Ira tightened his grip on the hilt as he stood his ground, his glare never leaving her.
"How could you?" He gritted his teeth.
"Hmm…." She hummed as Ira quickly charged towards her.
"HOW COULD YOU?" He slashed with everything he had, but she returned the onslaught as the two attacks collided with one another. Ziva's claws appeared to be hard as she parried Ira's sword swings away from her. The two attacked and dodged as best they could. They circled each other as Ira continued to swing and attempted to push her back, but Ziva had the advantage as she danced around him, laughing as none of his attacks found its mark.
Soon enough, Ziva overpowered him, breaking the sword from its hilt and knocking Ira back to the ground. Breathing heavily, Ira tried to pick himself up. The corner of his head dripped blood on to his face as he crawled towards the hilt of the sword. "Well it wasn't much of a fight, but you tried at least," Ziva stated calmly as she dusted herself off. "But I guess that's it huh?" She placed her hand on her hip as she looked down at him as his hand grabbed the broken sword. His body trembled as he knew death was only a few moments away. He closed his eyes tightly as he heard another set of footsteps coming his way.
Ziva didn't move as two random demons charged passed her towards Ira prone body. Their fangs sharp and their claws extended as they got ready to sink their teeth into the boy's flesh. "Um, what do you think you're doing?" Ziva spoke as her claws quickly grabbed both the heads of the demons that tried to devour her prey. "Who…In the hell told you…That you could come in and try to lay hands on my food?" With each word, her grip tightened as the demon's head began to cave in as they screamed in pain. "That's just so rude…and…I…don't… like…Rude!" She squeezed as hard as she could, destroying the heads of the demons that attacked Ira as their bodies fell limp beside her. She gave their bodies an annoyed look as she slowly turned her head back towards her fallen brother, who only looked up at her in fear.
Her annoyed look was replaced but a calm sly expression as she placed her hand on her hip again. "Sorry about the interruption, you know; low-class demons and all." She stated as she took a few steps towards Ira, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and lifting him off the ground. "Now then…Where were we?" Her tongue snaked out of her mouth as Ira struggled against her grip.
"Ziva…Let me go!" He kicked and screamed as he tried his best to free himself from her grip. "Ziva…" He gritted his teeth as Ziva continued to stare at him as she leaned in closer towards him, her mouth opening as she was getting ready to sink her teeth into him. "Ziva…." He kicked again. "No…Stop! Let me go!" He hollered, but Ziva wasn't hearing it.
Her fangs came within mere inches of his neck, but her attention was quickly drawn to a loud crash as she quickly turned her head in time for a large golden gauntlet being rammed into her face, causing her to drop Ira instantly as her body flew in a straight line, crashing through a string of cars before slamming into the concrete beam that helps support the level of the parking deck.
Ira fell to the ground, attempting to gain his composure as he managed to look up at the person that saved his life. His eyes fell upon a long purple ponytail that stopped at her thighs with a black ribbon that tied different parts of her hair together. She wore thigh-high black boots with a royal blue skirt around her waist. Her top half was covered with a black top with gold trimmings and a loose white jacket with a large gap in both of her sleeves with gold bands wrapped around her shoulders. Her hands covered with black gloves and golden gauntlets laid by her side as she stood in front of him.
Her golden eyes glared at Ziva as she picked herself up from the debris, rubbing her jaw at the punch she just received. "I finally found you…" She gritted her teeth as her deadly glare cease to fade at the sight of Ziva standing back up to face her.
"Oh well, if it isn't my favorite little angel?" She smiled at her. "It's about time you showed up but couldn't you have come at a better time. I was kind of in the middle of something." Ziva stated as the girl that opposed didn't show any signs of playfulness.
"This time…You won't get away." She seethes as the two continued to stare at each other as they both balled up their fist as Ziva got ready to return the favor of being hit.
