Looking up with his eyes closed, taking in the atmosphere with gratification; appearing as if he had just re-encountered the fresh air like it were a rare occasion. He began to amble through the field of corpses and blood, pacing himself as if staying upright was an unexpected burden.
He would grasp the assault rifle on his shoulder firmly now and then, to reassure himself that his weapon was still there. The gun felt cold and harsh as it gave a lingering frigid pain through his arms every time he touched it, though the pain did not bother him as his unwavering attention fixated on the changing landscape.
The change in the landscape was prompted by the invitation or rather the invasion of the war, destructive weapons deployed upon the country Kunyak which brought about the destruction of the country's structures and overwhelmed the government. It was a matter of time before the country became uninhabitable, what was of the country's fertile soil now became a barren battlefield.
The soldier gazed from side to side only to see piles of corpses either from innocent civilians or other soldiers. Occasionally, he would noticed tanks that was upside down with some being deformed beyond their original state, buildings that has crumbled into mountains of rubble.
The effects of war ravaged the city as a whole.
