"I'm on my way to the hospital," said Gabriel calmly.
"Are you sick?" asked Joseph, surprised.
Gabriel wanted to mention that he was going to visit Master Samson but he also remembered how Joseph used to brag about his wife and daughters. In the end, the words that came out of his mouth were: "I'm accompanying my wife for a pregnancy checkup."
The sound of a a cup shattering came from the other end of the phone followed by the surprised voice of Joseph Lopez. "You're married? She's pregnant? Who?"
"Serenity." Gabriel's lips curved into a smile, a hint of joy spreading across his face. Feeling a little more relaxed, he said, "We've only gotten our marriage certificate. We haven't held a wedding yet. So be on standby to prepare my wedding gift."
