She turned the corner and saw that it was Jocelyn White on the phone. Serenity was surprised to find her there, and the latter was too to see Serenity turn the corner so suddenly too. Serenity smiled awkwardly at her and turned to leave but Jocelyn quickly put her phone away and said, "Let's talk."
As soon as she finished speaking, Serenity said, "There's nothing to talk about between us."
"Don't you want to know what my relationship with him is?" asked Jocelyn anxiously as she looked at Serenity's back.
"You're just a junior," said Serenity, her back still facing Jocelyn White.
Jocelyn was a little surprised. Gabriel did treat her differently to have explained to Serenity about Jocelyn. "Did he ever tell you about his ex-girlfriend?"
"She is history," said Serenity calmly. "I don't need to know."
