Serenity went into the bathroom and came out about ten minutes later. Gabriel was sitting on the sofa with his laptop in his arms. Seeing her wet hair, he frowned and said, "Don't wash your hair when it's too late in the night next time."
Serenity was wearing cotton pajamas so her slender body looked even thinner. "Alrighty."
Gabriel put the laptop away and turned on the heater. "This is not a good habit."
She went into the bathroom to dry her hair and yawned non-stop when she came out. Gabriel was already lying on the bed waiting for her with only the night light on. She crawled into the blanket and snuggled into his embrace. He said, "You don't have to work tomorrow."
Gabriels' eyes had a faint smile. "You can sleep a little longer."
She was too sleepy. As she leaned against his warm chest, sleepiness welled up in her as she replied with a hazy hum.
