The corners of her lips suddenly broke into a smile, but her usually warm eyes had turned cold. "President Jones, if you want to play with women, please find someone else. I don't have time to spare with you."
Gabriel suddenly bent over and pressed his warm lips against her ear. Their cheeks touched and his warm breath seeped into her skin as he spoke.
"What I said is true. I must have some special feelings for you." Serenity shivered against his breath in her ears.
Still, Serenity couldn't tell if he was teasing her. Regardless, since he had no intentions of helping her and the Rivers family, there was no need to continue the conversation.
Serenity crouched lower and slipped from under him. She immediately took a few steps back to put some distance between them. Then, with a cold smile, she said, "President Jones, did you forget that we agreed not to get involved with each other after three months?"
