After resting for a while, everyone started getting ready to get back to work. Serenity threw her empty bottle into the trash can as her eyes searched for Gabriel.
She saw him talking to a woman under the shade on the west side of the building. The woman was wearing a light-colored dress and her hair was tied up high. She looked like a woman from Asia with a graceful and gentle temperament.
Although she could only see the woman's back, she was sure the woman was beautiful.
Gabriel looked at the woman and took the heavy bag of fruits from her. Then, he indifferently said, "You're not planning on going back?"
Wendy Jones avoided his question as she gently said, "I'm doing very well now."
Upon hearing this, Gabriel frowned slightly and his lips pursed. There was a hint of guilt in his tone as he said, "Aunt Wendy, I'm sorry I couldn't help you back then."
