After Serenity left the hotel, she called Gabriel again, but no one picked up.
After calling four or five times, she put her phone back into her handbag and hailed a taxi by the roadside. She gave the address of South Bay.
Upon arrival, she paid the fare and walked to the villa's door. She took a deep breath and raised her hand to press the doorbell.
