In the evening, Shen Lanzhi brought dinner to the hospital. As soon as she entered the ward, she saw her daughter curled up on the bed, lying on her side.
"Nuannuan, it's time to eat. Mommy made your favorite steamed fish today."
Shen Lanzhi took out the food from the insulated box as she spoke to Shi Nuannuan.
