Atop the cliff, pathways connected by wooden planks hung in the air, entwined with iron chains.
Standing on these planks, one could see the sheer drop of a thousand feet below, gaze upon the vast swathes of clouds, and watch white cranes dance gracefully.
"This is terrifying. I can't walk anymore."
"Just hold on to the chains as you walk."
"Mommy, I don't want to..."
Above the pathway, all the tourists were trembling. They had wanted to experience this perilous path. But as soon as they set foot on it, their legs shook and their bodies went limp. Who would dare to move even half a step forward?
Those with less courage immediately retreated, while the braver ones clung close to the cliff wall, moving slowly with both hands gripping the chains.
