Chapter Six Hundred Eighty-Eight
When the Spirit Attraction Array of Kowloon Mountain activated,
Yunlin and Wang Chao were startled awake.
The whole mountain shook so violently that Yunlin hurriedly ran out.
Panic filled her heart—could it be an earthquake?
She ran so fast that she forgot to put on shoes and, wearing only her pajamas, she rushed barefoot to the open space outside; suddenly, she froze. She saw a thick beam of light shooting into the sky.
Nine smaller white beams of light surged in from all directions.
Accompanied by billowing white mist, they looked like nine white dragons.
She wasn't sure if it was an illusion.
She even thought she heard the faint sound of a dragon's roar.
