Chapter Four Hundred Sixty-Three
Long Xiaoshan drove his car to Baixi Village, a large village with a population of over a thousand, where the Su surname was predominant.
There was a brook in the village known as Bai Xi, from which the village got its name.
Su Wan's home was located in the west of the village, right beside the Bai Xi river. It was a three-story tiled house with red brick walls that hadn't been plastered over.
On his way there, Long Xiaoshan had taken in the situation of Baixi Village.
It was certainly better than Longyang Village had been before, but not by much. Over half the houses were still those mud-brick ones built in the '70s and '80s. A brick and tile house was considered quite decent.
Long Xiaoshan parked the car at the entrance.
