With ease, "Summer" became Wang Yang's sixth highest-grossing single film; since 1978, it held the second spot in the romantic comedy genre, with only a $33 million gap from the top holder, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

"Brokeback Mountain" expanded its release to 551 theaters (+219), adding $9.48 million to its total gross of $30.36 million, fully demonstrating its remarkable commercial strength.
