Almost the same scene was unfolding in the lobbies of 3,845 North American Cinemas, where many young people waiting for the next showing of "Firefly" gathered, chatting, reading magazines, and playing with their phones. There were also many prospective audience members with their precious tickets wandering elsewhere before coming back, enduring a grueling three hours. They had waited two years, from 2003 to 2005, only to be three hours behind everyone else. Those people were enjoying the movie while Alice paced back and forth, nearly crying in frustration, "I'm just going to wait right here! I'm so angry, oh my God!"
