After completing the first episode of "The Big Bang Theory," Wang Yang returned to the cool Vancouver, and for the following several months, the affairs on the set of "The Big Bang Theory" were handed over to Graham Linehan and Bill Prady, with Graham also set to direct the first half-season's eleven episodes. With a wealth of script discussions, textual determinations, and the example of the first episode, the creative team and actors had already established a fundamental style and tone.
Of course, filming a sitcom isn't complex, the key lies in the script; and with a relaxed schedule of filming three episodes per month, even though Wang Yang was not always on set, he could still fulfill his responsibilities and create this innovative sitcom through phone calls and the internet.
