Properly spirited music is very important for any type of movie, and many humorous moments in comedies would become quite boring without music. David Lawrence, who had previously worked on the soundtracks for the "High School Musical" trilogy and "Juno," had in recent years focused on youth and campus films, crafting sunny and upbeat tunes.
