As Gar left the arena he kept his humanoid form. As much as he didn't want to admit it the benefits of being bonded to Diane were just to great. The longer they were together the stronger he could feel himself becoming. He pulled on the power coming from Diane to see if there was a limit but there seemed to be no end. He couldn't understand this fact. If she was this powerful why did she appear so week to him. To most everyone else Diane would appear as a very powerful warrior among the elites of this world, but that just a precursory outside view of her. If they could feel the torrents of power flowing beneath her surface, and then see her in battle they would feel the same way Gar did. Was she purposely acting weak or did she really just not know how to use her powers?
'Our mistress is not from this world. She really doesn't understand the extant of her powers. My mother explained this to me because her mistress was the same way when she first appeared in our world. We must help her and guide her in understanding her power. Our reward for doing so is being able to use some of her power as well.', Nissa transmitted to Gar's mind.
This was another thing that Gar didn't like about the bond. He couldn't have his own thoughts to himself anymore. If he didn't purposely block them, his thoughts would be transmitted to the others. Fortunately Nissa was very vigilant and made sure Diane didn't hear everything, for that he was greatful.
Gar used the power he received from Diane to change his body more, making him look more human. But no matter how much power he pulled he felt that there was still a small hole somewhere in his body that he just couldn't fill no matter how hard he tried. He knew this was the missing piece that Wizard Ren mentioned in his message. Since his escape from that lunatic he spent many years search for information and treasures he could use to fix his body. He was hoping to be able to help his sister as well. The night they escaped from his laboratory they ended up getting separated. She was still very young and too weak to outrun the Wizard's slaves that were hunting them. He tried hiding in the bottom of a hollowed out tree. He begged her to just stay there and be quiet. He would return for her as soon as he lost the people following them. He was injured himself so it took a couple days to lose them. When he returned he found the tree empty. At first he believed she had been found, but when he searched the area he found clues of her leaving on her own. He tried following her trail but it suddenly disappeared in the middle of a forest. Everywhere he searched he would ask around to see if anyone had seen her, but he never found any clues. Now that he was told she was back with that monster, he would do anything in his power to free her.
Gar followed the directions ther wizard gave and soon found himself outside of a lavish mansion. Eventhough Urenhiem City was unbelievable huge in size, as a capital city it housed many different races and any profession you could think of. Thus is population vastly outstripped its normal capacity. To over come this hurdle, the Department of Residential Affairs branch of the government changed ther building regulations to require all large building to be build more vertically then horizontally. So the wizard's mansion looked more like a highrise apartment building then a normal palatial mansion would. But the building's decorations with its marble facade and solid gold trim and domed roof would never let anyone who saw it mistake it for anything else but and ostentatious display of wealth. Just seeing such an opulent building and knowing that the wizard was living such a comfortable life sucked Gar to no end.
The guards outside noticed Gar staring at the mansion with mixed emotions playing across his face. They were extremely professional so neither of them moved but they kept Gar in their perception, ready for anything he may try.
Gar finally got over his revolution and made his way toward the front door. The guard on the right stepped forward to block his entry. But before her could do so a voice drifted out from inside, "It's ok I've been expecting him." The guard was shocked to hear his master's voice personally welcoming this stranger inside. Seeing as here was acquainted with their master both guards bowed to Gar and stayed that way until he went inside. Gar felt pity for the guards who he felt clearly didn't understand the man they had attached themselves to.
As soon as Gar made his way thru the black onyx stone door a beautiful elf maiden was there waiting to guide him to the wizard. As he walked thru the mansion he paid more attention to the layout and guard placement then he did the eye candy in front of him. He was frustrated to see that the wizard still knew him so well. Every path that could be taken in or out was blocked by guards instead of the one the elf lead him down. He could tell that the path they took was unnecessarily long and winding, trying to confuse his senses by doubling back a few times. If this had been before he met Diane the wizard's trick would have worked and her would have been thoroughly confused. But her could easily tap into Nisse's nature magic and leave and imprint wherever her took a step. The imprint was like a type of pollen that was completely undetectable except to him. He now laughed to himself at the wizard's pathetic attempt at trapping him.
When they finally arrived before a set of massive red oak doors the maiden bowed respectively and walked away. Gar braced himself before the massive doors and channels a large amount of Diane's strength, then pushed with all his might. Both doors snapped off their hinged and went tumbling across the room toward the wizard lounging on a couch. The wizard chucked then casually waved his hand stopping ther doors in their tracks and leaving them suspended in midair.
"Careful now you wouldn't want to hurt your precious sister would you?" ther wizard asked with a sly smirk on his face.
