Gadiel grunted as he struggled against his bindings. His face was pressed against the table, so all he could see was Irade's head also pressed against the table as a different officer held her down. A gun was pressed against her neck, keeping her immobile. Gadiel assumed that the cold metal against his neck was also the barrel of a gun.
He tried to call his cold, to freeze the cuffs, to no avail.
Damnit. It was those power-dampening cuffs. Seems that Meredith wasn't able to hide them from the Demon Patrol.
"You're making a big mistake," Gadiel warned the officer holding him down. "You really don't want to do this."
"Another word, and you die," said the officer harshly, pressing the barrel of the gun harder against Gadiel's neck.
"Your funeral," Gadiel muttered, loud enough for the officer to hear.
