I walked through the empty throne room, my steps echoing off the glass floor. In my arms was an unconscious woman, deep within the realm of Dream as I made my way over to the gold and red throne.
The throne she had made for me.
I took the steps up to the seat, then stood there for a moment, contemplating. Sure, I had asked her to do it, but this place, this castle, all came from her. From her creativity, her mind.
I looked up at the chandelier, remembering how she had even come up with how the magic circle engraved on those stones were also her idea. Yes, I had changed it to make it possible, but...
I calmly lowered my gaze, back down to the seat. I turned, looking around at the majesty of this place.
It was beautiful. Majestic.
And it all stank of her.
Of Alice.
Of the woman in my arms.
