Irade opened a single eye, frowning at Käwsär.
"We're almost there," he said, eyes still on the road ahead.
She grumbled, lifting her head from Black Wind's body, which she had been using as a pillow. The front seat of the truck was rather spacious; the entire front seat set up like a long couch. It was actually quite comfortable, especially since Black Wind's fur was softer than any pillow Irade had ever slept on.
She and Käwsär had been taking turns sleeping on Black Wind and driving for the past few days. Black Wind would tell them which way to go, and occasionally sleep too. Usually, he slept while Käwsär drove, because at least one of them had to keep up the stealth magic going.
