Two days.
It had taken her two days to go through all off the data that Katsuo had gathered. Two days of chugging coffee, one sleepless night of staring intently at the shining, blue screen. She felt tired, drained. Her body had been screaming at her to sleep, her head pounding.
For the first time in her life, Sakura felt as though she was getting old.
She used to be able to pull an all-nighter with no problems whatsoever back in college. Just a few weeks ago, she had basically lived like that for a week, trawling through the information on Neurix's hard drive. But she was getting tired from one, measly all-nighter now?
Must be age. That, or she was building up a resistance to caffeine.
Sakura stared at the brown liquid in her mug, feeling slightly betrayed by her body as she walked back to her desk. Well, her mother's desk.
