I open my eyes and all I see is white I think to myself I really am dead. My eyes adjust and then I realize that I am in a bed inside a lab. Someone sees that I have woken up and then a bunch of doctors and scientists, well at least I think, crowded around me. I was stressed I didn't know what to do I just look down at my arms and realize that I'm not a human anymore. I am a cyborg.
"What did you do to me?" I yelled. I screamed and screamed in anger.
Cough, cough. A man in a white lab coat came forward. "We saved your life." Then all my senses came back I remembered the crash. And then I realized won't I live forever if. I am a cyborg? No, no this cannot be happening. What about my family. What about my career. It will all be over, no, no, I must be dreaming, I have to be.
I scream "Someone pinch me." Everyone looks at me weird. "I must be dreaming right this isn't real, right?"
The same man stands up straight and says, "We cannot pinch you because you are medal, and you are not dreaming this is real. My name is Dr. Ping, I designed this to be as close to a human body as possible. I will teach you how to do human things with this that are simple, and how to other things that are not human too. Only things you can do and no other human can even attempt."
"Why?" I question.
"Why what?" He responded confused.
"Why did you destroy my life? Why did you make me a cyborg? Why couldn't you keep me human? Why did you do this to me!" I yelled. He stared at me blankly.
"We did those things to save you." He responded honestly.
"Will I get to ever see my family?" I asked.
"Only time will tell. We first have to get you adjusted to this lifestyle." He responded in a soft voice.
"Ok," I answered, relieved that I would see my family again.
"Now get up. I am taking you to your new home. There will be security cameras, for your safety, but we won't be there. So try and see if you can find out how to walk." I did as he asked, or at least tried I didn't know how to move. He soon realized this and told me, "Just think about what you what to do and it will do it." I did as he said and then I was off the bed. He told everyone else to get back to work and then cleared the way for me to pass. Once I was out of the room I didn't think twice, I saw an exit and I ran to it and wow, was I fast, I was out the door and running to go find a place to stay and then realized, I wouldn't be able to do anything, not without a disguise. So I went back, I needed him to get me my disguise. No one would ever do anything for me they would just call me a freak. When I entered the room after 15 minutes the Dr. grinned. "I knew you would come back." Everyone stared in amazement, and were all thinking the same thing, the cyborg actually came back!
"What do you guys want to do with me?" I said seriously. "I want to get it over with."
Everyone laughed. "Do with you? We just what you to live your life, but I do have one question who is your family? The moment Dr. Ping asked this I froze.
