The last day of their break, Sasuke went to visit Sakiko. He got into the compound and greeted the Gardner, then made his way to the entrance of the house.
When he got to the front door, he rang the doorbell and in a matter of seconds, someone opened the door.
He saw a giddy girl before him. She had round eyes, pert pink lips, pointed average size nose, a perfect cheekbone and asymmetrical V- shape faced.
She looked just like Sakiko, but the difference was her shorter hair which reached below her breast, her nose, lips, of which hers was more full and her eyes, they were a shade of dark brown.
She wore a short pink skirt and a black top with her name written boldly on it.
"Itsumi," he read out loud.
"Yup, that me," she smiled and winked at him.
"Hehe, good morning Itsumi," he greeted her while still standing outside.
"Good morning Sasuke. What brings you here today... Don't answer, its Sakiko obviously."
He felt like a kid whose surprise was discovered and smiled. "Is she in?"
"Oh my, mind my manners, please do come in." Itsumi stepped aside to let Sasuke enter the house.
He went in and thanked her as she locked the door behind her.
"Nah, it's nothing. Have your seat and please feel at home," she gestured to a cushion not too far from where they stood at the entrance.
"Sure, thanks once more. Where is everyone? How are they?" He threw in the questions more and more.
"Hold your horses Sasuke. They are fine, dad and mum went to work. Itachi is in his room, same with Sakiko. Let me inform her you are around."
She took a turn and headed for the stairs when she was halfway through the first flight of stairs, she turned back and rushed to where he was seated.
Sasuke who sat down was shocked by her attitude and just watched as she rushed down to meet him.
"Umm, did you forget any... " before he could complete his sentence, she grabbed his hand and pulled him up, then raced towards the stairs again.
She turned her head briefly to look at him, "Yes, I forgot you."
She gave a charming smile as she pulled him along.
They got to Sakiko's room, Itsumi knocked and opened the door. Sakiko didn't bother looking up from what she was doing and Itsumi used this opportunity to hide Sasuke at her back as she walked into the room.
Sakiko laid on her stomach on the bed as she operated her phone, ignoring who entered.
"Sakiko, Sasuke is looking for you," Itsumi announced.
"I got it right, it was the troublesome Itsumi. Hmm Sasuke huh, is she playing a prank?" She thought to herself.
"Sakiko!"
"Hmm her voice sounds serious," Sakiko thought again.
"Huh, yeah? Sasuke hmm... I'm not going," she stated flatly, all the while still focused on her phone.
"Why sis? He is waiting for you."
"I would have thought she'd jump at the thought that he was here. Are they fighting? Well so it would seem, she looks so disinterested," Itsumi thought.
"I thought he was supposed to be on his way to a party, so why come here?"
"So that's what it is. Sakiko is angry cause he picked her over a party. Well, I wouldn't say angry, more like jealous," Itsumi thought as she half-smiled.
"He should go to the party before he arrives late and miss all the fun," she sighed and put her head down on the bed.
"You are more fun than any party Sakiko," he blurted out. He could not endure seeing her feeling down. It pricked his heart when he saw her that way.
"Oh you're here, well it saves me all the talk," Sakiko dropped her phone and turned to look at the intruders as she sat up.
"Okay, I guess you two need to talk, so I'll leave you lovebirds alone."
"Itsumi, it is not like that, really."
"Say what now? I wasn't the one who, smooched someone."
She still had her half-smile plastered on her face as she watched her sister's face become all red again.
"Damn you Itsumi, would you ever stop!" Sakiko thought.
Her cheeks heated up at what her sister said. "Why does she always have to do that. It's not fair," she mentally cried.
"Sasuke, feel free to sit down since my sister has lost her manners in welcoming a guest."
Not waiting for his reply, she pushed him forward and left the room, closing the door behind her.
"Now I've lost manners... If I wasn't so flustered from your teasing... It's really no use with her," Sakiko thought to herself. "Why is he just standing there?" She asked herself.
