Faernia
This is the longest living species in existence. They created most of the other species you see today, and most of the magical species are a sub species of them. They are an immortal species; however they are able to be killed. It is just incredibly hard to do.
Nymphs
Nymphs were the first to be created by the Faernia. For the longest time this species was enslaved, but now most of them serve as free and humble servants. There are many different subclasses of this specie as well, because of evolution. They have an extended life span but are not immortal. They usually die from disease or illness, never from growing old.
Witches/Warlocks
This is strictly a species from Earth, that existed only a little bit after the Faernia. They co-exist with them well, although they have been known to cross the parallel border that separate the worlds. They have cross-bred with the Faernia to create The Immortals. This species is just as immortal as the Faernia but are more easily killed by other supernatural creatures with similar abilities. They produce two types of magic known as "Light" & "Dark". The difference between the two isn't inherently good or evil, rather Light witches/warlocks are able to pull energy from anything that has light attached to it like the sun, stars and moon. Whereas the dark witches/warlocks pull their energy from the absence of light, black holes or the left over energy from light witches. Dark Magic is a lesser magic since they rely more heavily on the by-product of used light energy.
Immortals
The immortals are a rowdy bunch that typically live in the human world stirring up chaos. They have the ability to change their sex as well as alter their appearance slightly. Just like the Faernia they are immortal, and typically hard to kill. The Immortals were worshipped under false pretenses as gods and goddesses, typically in Greek, Norse and Roman polytheistic religions.
Lycans
Lycans are a seclusive species living in the human world as well. They aren't immortal, but live for a very long time. They are a bit easier to kill versus Immortals and the Faernia. However they are on the same wave length with Shapeshifters, Nymphs and Vetala. This species turns into wolves, more specifically giant wolves that can speak telepathically with anyone.

Different Subspecies
Faernia
•Fae
Fae were the second sub-species to be developed by the Faernia; hence the name "Fae". This species believes themselves to be more noble then all the other species, and for the most part associate themselves in society better with the Faernia then the other species. Some of them have settled down into the human world, but a large population live around the Faernia on the Flip Side.
•Elves
Elves are a tricky species, that are always up to something mischievous. They sort of keep both the human world and the Fae world in balance emotionally. They make sure people are happy but not too happy, sad but not too sad. Unfortunately the species is dying out.
•Faeries
Fairies are tiny, like you would imagine from the fairy tails. The largest the can be is up to a foot tall, but it is rare among their kind. They are usually small. Most people mistake them as moths, butterflies, and fireflies. They are a gentle species that keeps track of the seasons. As you may have expected they are another sub-species of the Faernia, made by them.
•Mermaids
These creatures survive only in the water, you will never find them out of it. They can be alluring as well as charming, but not all of them are good. Keep your eyes peeled, because they will bite. They were created as a water sub-species of the Faernia by the Faernia.
Nymphs may differentiate in how far their powers extend or what they can do.

Demons
•Vatel
Are a species of what humans called Vampires. They sulk around the human world in Covens. They are undead, and feed off different species blood. They are the offspring of Lucianas and Witches/Warlocks.
•Lamia
This species was created by the witches/warlocks using vampire bones. They are nasty, angry species that hunts mostly woman and children. They are woman only, and usually cannot reproduce. They spend most of their time in large bodies of water, with the lower half of their body (torso down) being snake.
•Lucianas
Are typically what you picture a humanoid demon to be. These creatures are undead, and feed off of people's energy or life force. They are quite mischievous in nature, and tend to think of humans as pets.
•Succubi/Succubus
Are typically seclusive in nature, but feed off of sexual energy. Unlike other species are not immortal but just live for a long time. They can transfer their soul from their own body to another in order to survive though. They are the offspring of Lucianas and Vatels, but are fat and few in between as those two species hardly reproduce together or mate.
