Emma wondered if it was stress or if Therius left many duties at Winstad to come here with her in Taeshi. Emma stood up and walked forward towards Therius and then sat on his lap.
Therius looked up and encircled his arms around his wife's waist and looked up to her face.
"Is something the matter, Emma?" Therius noticed the small pout on her lips and he broke into a small smile.
"That's the question that I should be asking you, Therius." Emma placed a hand on his cheek and leaned closer to him. "Is there something that's bothering you and making you distracted? You know you can always tell me if there's something wrong."
"Can I really?" Therius looked up at her face and gave her a tired smile.
"Yes. Of course, that's what I'm here for." Emma nodded. "As your wife and partner, I'm here to support you and make sure that everything's okay. So just tell me and I'll listen."
