Ye Wudao could no longer hold himself back and immediately ran toward the five Nine-Leaf Snow Lotus Emperors, but the snow monkeys on the cedar trees started howling as soon as they saw Ye Wudao attempting to pick the Nine-Leaf Snow Lotus Emperors. They even threw pine cones at Ye Wudao, seemingly trying to stop him.
Pine cones hit Ye Wudao's body a few times, but it wasn't painful. However, these snow monkeys were annoyingly persistent; whenever Ye Wudao got close to the Nine-Leaf Snow Lotus Emperors, they would jump down from the cedar trees to attack him.
At first, Ye Wudao, not wanting to harm them, ignored the snow monkeys. But seeing that he didn't retaliate, the monkeys became even more brazen. One of them even climbed onto Ye Wudao's head, attempting to snatch his eyeballs.
Yet, Ye Wudao wouldn't let it succeed. He grabbed the monkey's arm and, with a yank, flung the audacious creature that had dared to act like the king atop his head.
